I like it, but they get along too well. As if they're too polite for people who are supposed to be siblings living under one roof. I know this because my sister and I can never be like that lol.
Sure! I'll be happy to, but some of my recommendations are not going to cater to mainstream audience, so you might have to give them 2 or 3 episodes to see if you like them. Do tell me if you have a preferred genre, and I can narrow down or broaden the list:
1. Omameda Towako to Sannin no Motootto (very addicting) 2. Kikazaru Koi ni wa Riyuu ga Atte (perfect summer drama) 3. Koi Desu: Yankee-kun to Hakujou Garu 4. Remolove 5. Oi Handsome! 6. Neechan no Koibito 7. Tsuma, Shogakusei ni Naru
These ones are older than 2020 but worth the watch: 1. Nagi no Oitoma 2. Todome no Kiss 3. Quartet (all-time favorite) 4. Saikou no Rikon 5. Takane no Hana 6. Nigeru wa Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu (very popular) 7. Kokoro no Kizu wo Iyasu to Iu Koto (based on a true story)
I'll stop here but I do have more than a decade experience when it comes to Jdoramas haha.
For those who are enjoying it, what exactly do you like about it? Because I like the cast but the story is not gripping for me after watching 2 episodes (well, I just mostly let it play in the background since I keep getting bored after a few minutes).
Agree. I see a lot of that type of comment in Jdoramas, and I'm pretty sure they're new to the Jdorama world. @JeanHanji Jdoramas actually have the top slice of life dramas even before Kdramas started producing the popular ones in that genre.
- Kikazaru Koi ni wa Riyuu ga Atte- Okaeri Mone (not a romance show but the writing (and chemistry) when it comes…
I've seen all of those except for Colorful Love, and they're definitely quality slice of life and romance Jdoramas. Omameda Towako (if you decided you like this type of drama, then try Quartet too as it has the same leads and great story) and Kikazaru are my top dramas. I was always anticipating the new episodes when they were still airing. I also want to recommend an oldie but goodie -- Love Shuffle. I rarely rewatch dramas but this one has been on repeat since I first saw it as a teen. You'll be surprised how many people from the cast you'll recognize.
I am sorry but Yumi and Babi are sooooo boring together. The episodes in which Wung appeared were the best of…
I have to sadly agree that is more evident when Woong showed up these past few episodes that his relationship with her in the past was on fire and felt more real.
