Just catching up to ep. 3 now. But first let me say that I have nothing against Sakurada. In fact I was rooting for him in Good Morning Call. But in this drama, I hate to say it but he made the whole Hiroto/ Risa relationship looks like a master/ pet relationship. The way he pat Risa on her head and the way he pulled Risa's head when they first met Akutsu. I mean, he could've pulled her hand gently to his side to show how 'protective' he is.
The way he treats her is more towards a master being possessive of his pet rather than being possessive to the woman he loves (though being overly possessive towards another human being is never a good thing). But maybe that is how the story should be portrayed?.. hihihi
Story line is simple and quite common but what makes it a good drama are the casts. Even Luni - the cast made it 'come alive'. And salute to Ji Soo - she was able to carry two different characters convincingly.
Watched the first 10 minutes of ep 1. And I kinda get what everyone (well mostly) is talking about. The ML looks too young to carry out such character - was quite surprised that his real age is actually 29. A bit lacking on the 'chemistry' part and I agree that the interaction between ML and FL is kinda awkward - someone said about almost being too robotic. Too conscious on the appearance and how everything should looks like i.e. angle when they are kissing (well nearly kissed) , how many buttons should be unbutton etc.
But now I'm more curious to see for myself how it'll all turnout especially after reading all the comments on this. Taking a dive now for 4 hours. LMAO
I get what you meant..like more drama with less plots and it plots they surround same contract marriage scenario…
Agree. Though it looks like the FL is kinda the 'victim as in weak/ as sex toy' but in actual fact - i think the FL is actually smart - she's actually kinda the one holding the string LOL. So, in a way, both ML and FL has their strengths and weaknesses which at the end of it, balances each other <3
I was having expectations for this one but the first episode ruined it lol, it was so cringy to watch the FM lead.…
I kinda felt the same way but its not on the 'cringy - ness' (a made up word - but you get what I mean) LOL. Its more on some important scenes that were edited out - it doesn't deliver the right impact/ force of the story. Example - the part where the FL was waiting for ML to give him breakfast till she fell asleep.
In Cdrama - the before scene was where the FL kept on 'missing out' the opportunity to catch up to the ML thus decided to wait for him early in the morning - but she fell asleep - and she still misses out to catch up to him.
I do apologize for comparing the two dramas. I know it's a remake but I just can't help it LMAO.
Just finished ep 1. Kinda predictable at the first 5 minutes when Yoshizawa entered the classroom - that the real master mind is actually Asahi and Touya is actually just playing innocent, and Riki is just the 'puppet'. LOL. But the way it was portrayed / acted out makes this drama interesting. Wonder what other 'twist' will there be next.
Just finished ep 1 - loving the overall characters - especially Momoko's relationship with her brother. But worried now about Manato 'having' a probation officer - what did he do?... off to the next episode then.
hmmm... As @Sneakernight said, it's an overall a satisfying ending but would like to see more of Asaba/ Kiki moment though. Love that all 4 main characters kinda have their own happy ending. To Makoto/ Kiki fans - I love the part where Riho said to Makoto about Kiki's Instagram. "Other than the store sweets, only Makoto's sweets made it 'in Kiki's list'. Makoto IS someone special to Kiki except not as her boyfriend though" LOL.
I'm quite surprised to see all the comments about being toxic etc. But first, I would like to admit that I've just created an account this month as I can't remember my previous account. Been a while... since I stopped watching dramas. Sigh... And I created the account because I truly wanna discuss/ share opinions about the drama which I believe makes it more interesting (like a book club). Its interesting to see what others think. There are times when there are comments that I never even thought of (others are looking at it from a different perspective) which is 'enlightening' and I like that.
Just finished ep 9. There's still a chance that Kiki ends up with Makoto. The way she was laughing at Makoto when he kept on asking for 'time out'. And the way she was smiling at Makoto when she said 'This Christmas, I would like to spend it with...' (there's no way you gonna smile/ laugh when you are giving bad news to the other party right). Or... all of them would just remain as good friends - hmmmm... kinda makes more sense. I'm not surprise if what Kiki meant to say was 'This Christmas, I would like to spend it with everybody'. And after this episode, it came to me that I believed, Asaba actually loves his work more. Asaba didn't say he likes Kiki, he said 'he needs her' (or could the word 'need' is stronger than 'like' hmmm...). Still think that maybe, probably... Kiki will not end up with Asaba. Well, we'll see till the final episode. Anyway, still hoping Kiki and Asaba ends up together but if they're not, hopefully they all would just remain as friends. If so, it's kinda a let down though. LOL
