I disagree a bit, I mean with the part where you said lot of people heard how great it is and watched.

Both main actors Cho Seung Woo and Bae Doo Na are too well known actors for it to have lost points due to popularity content.

I was just emphasizing that with time people tend to give higher ratings. Maybe it is a psychological bias somehow connected to hunger part of brain.

To elaborate how good is this show:
Since, with time MDL users have accustomed to give higher ratings as if they are popcorn, ratings have been skewed with time.

It uses classical as background music in some places. It's a good thing Kdramas pre-2010 had.

Certainly it doesn't deserve higher rating like 8.6.

Love between human and robots conceptually cannot exist. The reason inter-sex attraction exists is because of evolutionary imperative for reproduction. Since, brain can't be fooled for long, it will recognise robot unattractive as romantic partner.

At last I got to see a social distancing joke in Kdrama.

First time I dropped it as soon as became aware of its ending. After getting past through the fact that they didn't give us ending we wanted, I rewatched it. Though it does have a kind of plain story, it excels really well in execution. It's definitely a 8.5+ drama.

One more wasted effort by Netflix. Another show having only linear characters.

Both LDH and CSW have played secondary love interest in many dramas. So, it is main leads from their previous dramas who becomes their secondary love interest from frame of reference of this drama. Just a wishful thinking.

Overall it was well made drama, but there are few shortcomings
* The mystery part starts very strong, and then dies down even before living completely.
* The reason for temporarily breaking up of main couple of was something I've seen done zillion times.
* The subplot of Seo Ha Neul & Han Jin Ho which I liked a lot was somehow dropped.

Somewhere in middle of little bit and lot of for main couple. Though there are many pairings, hence, overall closer to a lot.

One of the parameters of great shows is memorable side characters. It has plenty of them.

Absense of romance tag, and given the fact that last 2 of NGM dramas (Awaken, The Veil) didn't have much romance; I think it will also not.

Overall good show. I feel that mystery theme fell flat in last quarter. Too much buildup in first half without much follow through in second half.
