The only thing I disliked in this drama is Park Jae Hoon asking Han Ji Hyeon whether he can "use" her, to somehow help in his relationship with Goo Yeo Reum.
When Ma Tan is trying to figure out the spy, and Sang Sik fumbles with files: Sang Sik sunbae must be the spy, a person can't be lacking this much. This must be all an act. :D
Yeah, high ratings are mostly because of popularity of ML (disclaimer: I also think ML is a great actor). Most…
Let me elaborate: A good drama has more than 1 characters interesting enough to carry the show.
Let's take example of One Dollar Lawyer again. The main FL Baek Ma Ri, they haven't developed her character fully. She either questions ML on some trivial thing or just be impressed by him. Outside of her interactions with ML I don't know much about her.
Similarly, take example of Sa Mu Jang. He is mostly there to converse with ML or explain how sad and great ML is.
One more example, Bake Hyun Mu. He is just there to contemplate history and present of ML and explain to his granddaughter how great ML is.
In shows like this it becomes difficult to get attached to any other character apart from ML. Hence, it becomes boring.
In your analysis, you are sort of pointing out what I think. To me the show just looks like writer is doing product placement of 'greatness of ML' for an hour every episode.
Am glad you don't like in a country where people don't ascribe to concepts like infidelity. You'd have a heart…
I didn't get your point. I was just looking for example modern or ancient where contract breaking (marriage or relationship being a contract) is considered good?
