Your Darcy is off. He should be older or at least look older. Ji Sung came to mind immediately, Personally, I…
My first thought was to cast a more mature looking Mr Darcy too. I love Ji Sung. He is a great actor. I think the chemistry between the leading man and leading lady is super important, though. The story is told from the perspective of Elizabeth... so the leading lady should be cast first and then Mr Darcy chosen to compliment her. My choice for Lizzie is 100% Kim Go Eun. I can't see Ji Sung with her. I have a 1st and 2nd choice for Darcy: Choi Jin Hyuk or Go Kyun Pyo.

I love this idea, though I'd like Park Hae Jin for my Mr Darcy. :)
I totally can see why you would choose Park Hae Jin. I really do think he could do it justice, but it would really depend on who was cast as Lizzie. My choice is definitely Kim Go Eun for that role. Since they were previously in Cheese in the Trap together, I would rather see her paired with someone new. My 1st and 2nd choices for Darcy are Choi Jin Hyuk and Go Kyun Pyo. I choose CJH because, he is manly. The Mr Darcy character should be exactly that. GKP because of his role in Potato Star 2013QR3, I know he could pull it off. Plus I would really like to see GKP and KGE paired up.

Perhaps I am hesitant with some of these picks because the actors are being compared to the actors from the movie version (I hated the movie version).
I am a big fan of the BBC mini series version with Colin Firth as Mr. Darcy.
I will probably have to refresh my memory a bit. I haven't watched any of the most recent dramas your Darcy, Elizabeth, and Bingley picks were in. They were only side characters in most of the dramas I have seen them in, none were that memorable to me.
Mr Darcy was roughly 10 years older than Elizabeth... So I think Choi Jin Hyuk would make and amazing Mr. Darcy. Coincidentally he has already been the leading man in a Drama called Pride and Prejudice. I know he has been playing a little older roles lately but he is still technically around the age the character was when he married the 21 year old Elizabeth. If not as Mr Darcy, he should at least be cast as Col. FitzWilliam. My second choice for Mr Darcy would be Go Kyun Pyo.
I would like to see Kim Go Eun, as Elizabeth.
It would, of course, depend on the chemistry between the two. I think Go Kyun Pyo and Kim Go Eun would look better together, but sometimes you don't know what the chemistry will be like until you see it on the screen. I trust that both CJH and KGE would do a great job of playing the individual roles.
Mr Bingley is a bit silly. I am thinking someone like Park Hyung Shik.
I will agree that Sung Hoon would do well as George Wickham. I might need to think it through a bit more, but I would also consider Joo Won. He is very likable. If he were really a player, I can see many ladies and gentlemen being taken in.
Li Sung Kyung is pretty enough to be Jane. I haven't seen her in a role where she was innocent and fragile. If she could not pull off that role, we already know she could definitely pull of the role of Lydia from other roles she has played. I kind of like the idea of her with Sung Hoon or Joo Won being the George Wickham character.
For Jane, I don't have anyone in particular in mind. Off the top of my head I can not think of anyone that is prettier than Kim Go Eun that is not too old for the part or to tough for the part. Jane is supposed to be level headed but also sweet to the point of sainthood, naive, modest, fragile, and has the face of an angel.
Any excuse to see Lee Do Yeon! I love her. I agree, she is a great character actress and would love to see her in larger roles.

Were you able to find this drama subbed in the end?I found it on ondramanice.io
No, I never found it. Thank you. I will give that site a try. Did you like it?
On Chinese Paladin Season 5 Jan 4, 2018
This was my first Wuxia genre drama. I don't really have anything to compare it to, at the moment. I gave it an 8 because I enjoyed it. I am a fan of Joe Cheng, so I loved that his character was so interesting and had so much screen time. If I am looking to try another drama from this genre what do you recommend?? I prefer less fight scenes and more time spent on relationships and story lines. Something with Romance, comedy, and fantasy would be great.

Person Joe Cheng
So glad I found Chinese Paladin 5 (available on Viki). I am really enjoying it. It is nice to see Joe Cheng in a drama again! He has an amazing on screen presence. I loved him in It Started with a Kiss and They Kiss Again(available on Dramafever), but it has been difficult for me to find any of his other dramas subbed in English and on sites I have access to.

Did you watch any of the other versions or the first season? It is strange to me that this would bother you now,…
YT? The Korean version humor is toned down a lot from some of the other versions. If you preferred that version, I would not recommend Taiwanese one, for you. The approach was very different. I personally preferred the Taiwanese version because the leading man was more human. I also really like the silly humor. I have to admit that the Kdrama version had the most beautiful scenes. If you have not seen the Thai version, I recommend it. The leading man is nicer and the leading lady is more independent, compared to other versions. The chemistry is really good too.

Title They Kiss Again Spoiler
The female character is the worst. I really wonder if there's such person in this world. She's so dumb…
Did you watch any of the other versions or the first season? It is strange to me that this would bother you now, if you had watched and liked the first season. If you watched another version and liked it but not this one, you may just not like this type of Taiwanese humor. Did you end up finishing it? The last couple of episodes really bring home the point they are trying to get across with the story. I believe the second season is to show why it had to be Xiang Qin for Zhi Shu and also to show why Zhi Shu really was worth all of the trouble. Her character is exaggerated in part to get the comedy relief, but also to show how they are different and why they would compliment each other.

Did you ever end up watching this? It must not have been at the time you posted, but now the episodes are linked…
If you have access to it, I recommend watching on Dramafever. The first few episodes do look low quality, but either I didn't notice after that or it does improve... either way, it totally worth the watch. They Kiss Again is available there too.

I loved it. It was great to see both Lee Min Ki and Jung So Min in a romcom again. This has a couple of my favorite tropes(co-ed cohabitation and contract relationships). The leading man was reserved but showed just enough cracks in his armor to sympathize with him. It didn't feel rushed to me nor did it ever get slow.
My only complaint is that it was anti participating in the memorials/kimchi traditions of their families. I hate to see traditions die.

On It Started with a Kiss Dec 22, 2017
I recently recommended this to someone. They mentioned how old it was. It has been a long time since I have watched this version, so I decided to give it another watch to make sure it stood up to the test of time. It is true that the picture is not as crisp as I am now accustom to, but once you get into the story you really won't notice. The hair and clothes are a bit dated, but since fashion is cyclical, these will all probably be back in style in another 5 years or so anyway :P
I am enjoying it again like it is the first time seeing it. I will continue to recommend this version! This is my very favorite portrayal of the leading man. I also like that they do a better job of showing what keeps her coming/why she doesn't give up. I am sure the extra episodes help this along.
FYI - I have watched every version I have found so far. I love them all. I think they all have great things unique to that version.

Honestly, this kind of article is really useful to avoid ordinary drama which rank highly. At least they explain…
Maybe it is and maybe it will just make you miss out on a drama you would have otherwise watched and loved. You honestly can not say that for sure. You won't know if you would personally hate it unless you personally try it yourself. If you tell us what kind of characters/drama tropes you like, many drama fans can recommend a drama that you would probably love... this list might narrow your choices down a bit, but it won't help find your perfect drama.
Replying to Dramaknits Dec 17, 2017
I'm honestly getting bored with all of these "articles" where people list all the dramas they dropped or the dramas…
I have to agree that I would much rather read articles about dramas someone loved from: the year, a particular country, a certain genre etc... than articles about what dramas someone doesn't like. Articles about dramas someone loved are infinitely more useful to those of us that have watched 200 or more dramas and are constantly looking for a hidden gem that we missed somewhere along the way.
That said, I do think your comment comes off as a bit unnecessarily harsh. In the same way the author could have "been more selective when searching for a drama" you could have passed on reading and article titled "6 Popular 2017 K-Dramas That Missed The Mark For This MDL'er". The title implies that they already know it is a matter of taste and that it will be an article about dramas they did not like.
Still, because I do support the message that we want more pro-drama articles... I would love to recommend a couple dramas to you that I loved. I will have a look at your list and send you a message. If you want to reciprocate, I would love to get a recommendation from you, if you have the time to look at my list.
totoro Dec 16, 2017
We clearly have very different taste in dramas. 3 of the dramas listed I wasn't interested in watching at all. That is a lot, considering I am usually watching between 3 and 10 airing dramas at a time and have completed a total of 273 dramas. I have probably tried and dropped a total of around 60. That is a guesstimate because I periodically delete my dropped list.

I was super excited to watch both Suspicious Partner and While You Were Sleeping. They both got slow at one time or another. Suspicious Partner started out great, had a slow middle, and just an okay ending. While You were Sleeping started out well, got a bit slow, stayed pretty slow, but really finished well. The chemistry of SP was promising but then felt more like a friendship. The chemistry of WYWS was awkward then seemed like legit dating by the end. I don't think they were total misses, but I can see why someone would be a bit disappointed.

1 that I almost passed, but am so Glad I watched is Strong Woman Do Bong Soon. I only ended up watching it because so many people on the forum I frequent said it was good. I had previously watched the first couple of minutes and thought it looked like it was going to be too low budget for me. It is very Comic book super hero, so you will have to suspend reality... but I am super glad I gave it a second try! I found myself smiling after every episode. The leading man being so in touch with his feelings and pursuing the leading lady was a nice change of pace. The couple was 8 kinds of ADORABLE. Love Love Love.

Title Seven of Me
It will most likely have extra content as the story goes along. K version is 16 hour long episodes, this one is…
I didn't think to look at the running time. It would be nice if they expanded on the brother/sister relationship... although I don't love the actor that has been cast as the "brother". Hopefully it won't be just double the flashbacks :)
On Seven of Me Dec 15, 2017
Title Seven of Me
it is listed as a “remake” of Kill Me Heal Me, so it should be fun to see how closely they stick to the script. It is a carbon copy so far.
Episode 1 Spoiler:

I forgot what a player his bad boy character was. Grabs her hand to bring her attention to her watch dramatic pause“ Remember.” dramatic pause while he waits for it to be 10 on the dot. “On February 16, 2016, at 10 pm. I fell in love with you.” Holding her hand the whole time. :)
