Why doubtful of Yoon Doo Joon? didn't you like him in Let's Eat, Let's Eat 2, and Splash Splash Love? I am a big…
I recommend the Let's Eat series. The first has a better mystery storyline and hilarious side characters. The second has a better romantic storyline. Both have second leads you wish you could take home with you. Plus, you will learn a ton about Asian foods, if you are not already familiar with them. I am excited that there will be a Let's Eat 3 this year too, but I haven't heard anything about Yoon Doo Joon reprising his role...

I went to Viki to watch it and it isn't showing any episodes :( Were you able to watch it there?

Up to episode 9. It is a great drama so far. I was looking for something adorable and this is hitting the mark.

Person Lee Jun Ho
My first time seeing him is in Just Between Lovers. Sadly one week to go and I don't think I will watch the last 2 episodes because it looks like it is heading for a tragic ending. I think his acting was amazing in this. Crossing my fingers and hoping the next drama he is cast in the lead of is a light funny sweet romcom.

Please tell me if a miracle happens for a happily ever after ending. Otherwise, I am stopping here. The acting has been great. I really liked the characters. Still, I do not want to be depressed for 3 weeks after if he dies.

My first thought was to cast a more mature looking Mr Darcy too. I love Ji Sung. He is a great actor. I think…
Seo In Guk is very swoon worthy. Darcy comes off as less than pleasant, at first, I don't know if Seo In Guk could suppress his charm long enough to be mean Darcy. lol. Now I am thinking of him, I should rewatch one of his dramas.

And yes. Hyeri and Ji Sung were all wrong for each other. I love Hyeri but she is too cornball goofy to be paired with Ji Sung. Plus she doesn't have as much stage presence as Ji Sung. I think Ji Sung spent that drama try to play into her style and it just seemed weird and awkward.

I like the 1995 TV series better. The movie is just too hollywood and uncharacteristic of Lizzy.A combination of…
Glad I am not the only one. I hated the movie version. I am a complete fan of the 95 mini series. I watch it at least once a year. I agree about Ji Soo. The Bingley character should be a bit silly.

Your Darcy is off. He should be older or at least look older. Ji Sung came to mind immediately, Personally, I…
My first thought was to cast a more mature looking Mr Darcy too. I love Ji Sung. He is a great actor. I think the chemistry between the leading man and leading lady is super important, though. The story is told from the perspective of Elizabeth... so the leading lady should be cast first and then Mr Darcy chosen to compliment her. My choice for Lizzie is 100% Kim Go Eun. I can't see Ji Sung with her. I have a 1st and 2nd choice for Darcy: Choi Jin Hyuk or Go Kyun Pyo.

I love this idea, though I'd like Park Hae Jin for my Mr Darcy. :)
I totally can see why you would choose Park Hae Jin. I really do think he could do it justice, but it would really depend on who was cast as Lizzie. My choice is definitely Kim Go Eun for that role. Since they were previously in Cheese in the Trap together, I would rather see her paired with someone new. My 1st and 2nd choices for Darcy are Choi Jin Hyuk and Go Kyun Pyo. I choose CJH because, he is manly. The Mr Darcy character should be exactly that. GKP because of his role in Potato Star 2013QR3, I know he could pull it off. Plus I would really like to see GKP and KGE paired up.

Perhaps I am hesitant with some of these picks because the actors are being compared to the actors from the movie version (I hated the movie version).
I am a big fan of the BBC mini series version with Colin Firth as Mr. Darcy.
I will probably have to refresh my memory a bit. I haven't watched any of the most recent dramas your Darcy, Elizabeth, and Bingley picks were in. They were only side characters in most of the dramas I have seen them in, none were that memorable to me.
Mr Darcy was roughly 10 years older than Elizabeth... So I think Choi Jin Hyuk would make and amazing Mr. Darcy. Coincidentally he has already been the leading man in a Drama called Pride and Prejudice. I know he has been playing a little older roles lately but he is still technically around the age the character was when he married the 21 year old Elizabeth. If not as Mr Darcy, he should at least be cast as Col. FitzWilliam. My second choice for Mr Darcy would be Go Kyun Pyo.
I would like to see Kim Go Eun, as Elizabeth.
It would, of course, depend on the chemistry between the two. I think Go Kyun Pyo and Kim Go Eun would look better together, but sometimes you don't know what the chemistry will be like until you see it on the screen. I trust that both CJH and KGE would do a great job of playing the individual roles.
Mr Bingley is a bit silly. I am thinking someone like Park Hyung Shik.
I will agree that Sung Hoon would do well as George Wickham. I might need to think it through a bit more, but I would also consider Joo Won. He is very likable. If he were really a player, I can see many ladies and gentlemen being taken in.
Li Sung Kyung is pretty enough to be Jane. I haven't seen her in a role where she was innocent and fragile. If she could not pull off that role, we already know she could definitely pull of the role of Lydia from other roles she has played. I kind of like the idea of her with Sung Hoon or Joo Won being the George Wickham character.
For Jane, I don't have anyone in particular in mind. Off the top of my head I can not think of anyone that is prettier than Kim Go Eun that is not too old for the part or to tough for the part. Jane is supposed to be level headed but also sweet to the point of sainthood, naive, modest, fragile, and has the face of an angel.
Any excuse to see Lee Do Yeon! I love her. I agree, she is a great character actress and would love to see her in larger roles.

On Chinese Paladin Season 5 Jan 4, 2018
This was my first Wuxia genre drama. I don't really have anything to compare it to, at the moment. I gave it an 8 because I enjoyed it. I am a fan of Joe Cheng, so I loved that his character was so interesting and had so much screen time. If I am looking to try another drama from this genre what do you recommend?? I prefer less fight scenes and more time spent on relationships and story lines. Something with Romance, comedy, and fantasy would be great.

So glad I found Chinese Paladin 5 (available on Viki). I am really enjoying it. It is nice to see Joe Cheng in a drama again! He has an amazing on screen presence. I loved him in It Started with a Kiss and They Kiss Again(available on Dramafever), but it has been difficult for me to find any of his other dramas subbed in English and on sites I have access to.

Did you watch any of the other versions or the first season? It is strange to me that this would bother you now,…
YT? The Korean version humor is toned down a lot from some of the other versions. If you preferred that version, I would not recommend Taiwanese one, for you. The approach was very different. I personally preferred the Taiwanese version because the leading man was more human. I also really like the silly humor. I have to admit that the Kdrama version had the most beautiful scenes. If you have not seen the Thai version, I recommend it. The leading man is nicer and the leading lady is more independent, compared to other versions. The chemistry is really good too.

Title They Kiss Again Spoiler
The female character is the worst. I really wonder if there's such person in this world. She's so dumb…
Did you watch any of the other versions or the first season? It is strange to me that this would bother you now, if you had watched and liked the first season. If you watched another version and liked it but not this one, you may just not like this type of Taiwanese humor. Did you end up finishing it? The last couple of episodes really bring home the point they are trying to get across with the story. I believe the second season is to show why it had to be Xiang Qin for Zhi Shu and also to show why Zhi Shu really was worth all of the trouble. Her character is exaggerated in part to get the comedy relief, but also to show how they are different and why they would compliment each other.

Did you ever end up watching this? It must not have been at the time you posted, but now the episodes are linked…
If you have access to it, I recommend watching on Dramafever. The first few episodes do look low quality, but either I didn't notice after that or it does improve... either way, it totally worth the watch. They Kiss Again is available there too.
