I finally watched the last episode.
I can't really complain because it is not like you can expect fabulous writing in these types of dramas. Totally makajang. It has a heroine for you to root for and a villian for you to hate. It has an sweet and handsome second lead and a couple of lovable side characters. It is a melodrama so it has a good bit of craziness, a few deaths, and a couple of wonderful turns of luck. I only wish the character growth had been a bit more gradual. I really wonder what it would have been like with the original actress playing the lead role. The right kind of chemistry can make a bad script seem like a mediocre one and a mediocre one seem good...
I really really love this drama. I think it is pretty underrated. It exceeded my expectations for Lee Hong Ki.…
I loved Yi Hyun as the second lead. I am always confused when I hear comments like this. If you really get to know someone, you start to see the person as a whole, not just their physical appearance. After he knew her well, he would have never thought of her as being so similar to his half sister, he would have thought of her as being so different from his half sister. Most people's perception of what a person looks like will change after getting to know what kind of person they are.
Yay.. I am so glad I was not the only one that really liked it. I loved the supernatural twist to this drama. I also thought this was a really cute pairing. It was fun to see Lee Hong Ki playing the handsome chaebol jerk. Previously, I had only seen him play heart on his sleeve goofballs. I am a huge fan of Secret(with Ji Sung and Hwang Jung Eum). I was surprised to find out that Yang Jin Sung played Ji Sung's character's dead fiance in Secret. I totally didn't recognize her while BOC was airing. I only realized when I rewatched Secret again after.
I started watching this on Drama Cool but, when you click on episode 6, episode 5 plays again. Luckily, I found episode 6 easily, on youtube. Yay! I am enjoying this lakorn so far. My only complaint is all of the screaming, raised voices, and carrying on. I am reading subtitles anyway, so I keep it on the lowest possible volume and periodically mute it.
If there is no Chemistry between the leads, even a really good script can not save the drama. Thanks for this list, I will start looking for these lakorns. I already watched the two with Mike D'Angelo & Sushar Manaying. They were Great!
Love the main couple but love YangYang/QQ even more! Can't wait til they have their moment. Hope the writers/directors are giving their romance enough screen time :)
I watched this recently, it was a recommend on a newer lakorn I was watching. I gave it a try and loved it. It looked a bit low budget and I had my doubts at first, but I enjoyed the story...
Time Travel drama/movie recommendations: I will list all of the dramas/movies I can think of with a time travel…
good to know. Thanks. I will look for the Japanese version. I really wanted to like the Kdrama version because I like one of the actors, but I just couldn't.

I can't believe I forgot Tunnel when I made this list. That one is 100% time travel. Loved it! I also consider Signal (loved it) Time travel related. Rooftop Prince is already on the list. I have not watched the Chinese versions of Scarlet Heart. I think I tried it and dropped it but, I cannot remember why, now. I have not seen any of those movies. I tried Time Renegades but it didn't catch my interest, so I did not finish it. I will look some of these others up. Thanks.
Time Travel drama/movie recommendations: I will list all of the dramas/movies I can think of with a time travel theme. Please add to it, if I have missed any. I would love to find one that I have not seen yet.
Time travel with historical costumes:
Faith - loved it.
Time Slip Dr Jin - didn't hold my interest
Queen In Hyun's Man - loved it. Guy from past comes to future.
Roof Top Prince - cute and funny. Guy from past comes to future.
Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo - So Good, but it is a cryfest!
Splash Splash Love - cute short drama(extra points for starring Yoon Doo Joon and Kim Seul Gi)
The Eternal Love - (Chinese drama currently airing) - historical clothing but she looked at the map and says they must not be on earth...
I watched a Movie version of Moon Lovers Scarlet Heart Ryeo(I think, or something similar), but I can not remember the title. I remember liking it....
Not that far in the Past Time Travel:
Nine Times Travel - Good
Tomorrow with You - Okay/unique that it is about traveling to the future and past
Operation Proposal - I heard the Japanese version is better, but I got bored in the Kdrama verson and dropped it.
Not exactly Time Travel, but similar:
Chicago Typewriter - More like a past life haunting
Roy Mai - Thai drama and it is not time travel, but more like a past life haunting
So far I haven't seen any major streaming site list this as a drama they're going to pick up. :(
Understood. If you are like me and love a good time travel drama... perhaps you too would like some Time Travel drama recommendations, to fill in, until this one gets licensed.... starting a new thread for them.
To say this drama is so extra is an understatement. I've been skipping through this series for the last 30…
I really don't understand people who keep watching dramas that they are not enjoying. If it is not my cup of tea, I usually know in the first 5 minutes. I have dropped plenty, 5 minutes in. If a drama gets slow for me, I give it 1 more week to pick back up or I drop it. I do know some people that will watch all the way through, even if they hate it.... just to add it to their finished list. I say, good for you, for dropping it! There are so many great ones to out there, why waste time on one you don't love. I would be happy to look at your list and make a recommendation based on your taste. Makjang melodramas are definitely an acquired taste. I love how ridiculous they are. For me, that is the appeal.

Yep. Look out for dramas described as "melodrama", there are often makjang elements. I wouldn't write them off altogether, though. In the future, if you are mad at an ex or your boss, watching a related makjang drama may help you release your anger. There is often sweet revenge for the innocents(if there are any) in these kinds of dramas.
Just started watching this last night, on KBS' youtube station. It is really cute so far. It has been a long time since I watched a monday through friday drama. It will be nice to get to start every morning with an episode :)
Plz remeber me why I start a daily drama! O.o it's so slow and now I ship for Jin Do Hyun, so I even got…
You get to watch one episode every weekday! I am only up to episode 10, because I started late. I can already tell, I am going to have a little second lead syndrome too. He needs to fall in love with a nice girl who can help him change for the better.
