The progression in this episode to the Kiss was great. I loved that every time, in their everyday interaction, they are having fun/getting too close, he can see her shut down and pull away. Everytime she shuts down and pulls away, he looks a little sad/disappointed.
Thoughts on Episode 20 - I am frustrated that Hae dang never seems to notice her boyfriends reactions whenever she talks about Yoo Gi Na. I know it is a cheesy melodrama and that is just what they are like, but sheesh, she doesn't have blind fold on. The man is visibly tearing up. - I don't have any complaints about the new lead actress, but I do think there is a lack of chemistry. I really find myself wondering what the on screen chemistry would be like with Gu Hye Seon in some the scenes Hae dang interacts with her boss and her boyfriend.
I really hope it is not the end. I love the Classic archetypes. I have always thought they were loosely based on Pride and Prejudice. At first he thinks he is above her and she does not deserve his attention. Then he is slowly won over (not by her looks) by her good qualities(cleverness/sweetness/common sense/optimistic outlook/loyalty/faithfulness). When he decides he can no longer deny his feelings for her, he comes on strong, in part, because it does not even occur to him that she may not welcome his adoration. The fact that she does not accept him at first, wakes him up to his own inadequacies. He begins to change because he wants to gain her "good opinion". I am not opposed to the occasional sweet guy. (I happened to love Ho Goo's Love.) However, I hope the "Mr Darcy" type NEVER disappears.
I will second the recommendation for Across The Ocean To See You, for a nice guy. It is a very sweet series.
omo, that got serious quick. This is not what I expected, at all. I thought they were both going to be suspicious of each other cheating ..... Not That! Wow.
This is fluffy romcom perfection. I am loving it. It is just the right ratio of comedy to adorableness to romantic angst. I have high hopes for the secretary and his Miss good morning ??? Is that what he called her? I need to rewatch that part again. I am completely hoping he sees her younger brother and starts to think she had his child without telling him.
2 things I don't really get....why her friend, the 2nd lead, hasn't confessed to her all this time.…
I get your frustration about the friend not confessing. I think it will become more clear later, why her friend has not confessed. Also - Girls often pretend not to know and play it off as a joke, when a friend they are not romantically interested in broaches the topic. I think he is picking up the cues that she is dropping. And - The friend zone is real.

Most women her mom's age are not typically having honeymoon baby's. On top of that, her mother used to be a porn star. I feel like her character never wants to bring up the topic of her Mom, for fear that it will lead to them finding out her mom is an "erotic" actress. ... And of course, if she explains that she has a little brother now... it will not allow him to have a misunderstanding later about the baby, that called her Mom and is the exact right age to be their love child. lol.
Love that they finally showed the back story of her relationship to her mother in law. I already knew I liked her mother in law, but now I like her even more.
I also love that they play the Midsomer Murders music sometimes.
Finished. It got a little too real for a couple episodes near the end, but still finished with the fluffy ending I expected. I was so happy that Viki got it and subbed them so quickly. Some of those later episodes ended in places that would have left me dying to know what happens next.... til the next day.
Episode 8 was, well... intense. Seriously I'm having a hard time now with breathing. So many thing were 'officially'…
No. At that time I had only watched up to episode 7. I watch on Dramafever. I thought it would make sense that she would name her son after a father that disappeared. I also thought the dumpling thing would mean she was related to one of the crimes in the area, I didn't even consider she would be his daughter.
All day been hoping Dramafever would load the next two episodes :( I guess they are off for the the Holiday. It…
Viki has passed them up now. 25 episodes are subbed. DF still hasn't added any episodes, so far today. When I went to check, I saw that Dramafever added the first episode of My Secret Romance. I watched that instead :)
Maybe they're married only on paper? The grocery shop lady keeps calling her "agashi".. and she…
Remember... the chief was surprised to find out she was married too. I do think it was forshadowing that they said her husband who acts single. When talking to her friend she mentioned that she helped put him through school so that she could become a prosecutors wife. - can't remember the exact wording but it was something like that. I am not sure if I should root for the betrayal of a cheating husband or that they were friends who married out of some type of convenience. Something does seem to be up though.
