On Across the Ocean to See You Apr 17, 2017
All day been hoping Dramafever would load the next two episodes :( I guess they are off for the the Holiday. It is nice that Viki has it now. Dramafever must be on a week delay or something because Viki has more than 26 episodes up. Only one problem. Only about 6 or so are subbed at the moment. Hopefully they have a dedicated subber who will catch up to dramafever with subbed episodes and then pass... so we can watch them earlier.

I cant stop myself checking raws on yt for this drama! Chemistry is great and after watching/re-watching some…
I also love dramas with a relationship built on friendship. Though, in my real life, it was love at first sight, with my now husband of 12 years. The problem is that it isn't really love at first "sight". It is more like love at first sense. You just "know" that is the one. You are strangely drawn to them. It is really difficult to portray that on screen. The writers/producers/directors/chemistry between actors have to be flawless. Strangely, even though "I get it", my personal favorites are unrequited love stories or love that happens inconveniently... like with the person you are trying to get revenge on, etc. I like seeing love overcome a complicated relationship. - In ATOTSY, falling in love with your pregnant boss- when you think there is another father who might step in/your employee when you are already pregnant might have some complications :)

Really cute one. Can anyone tell me if Chinese dramas have just dramatically improved lately, there are more available…
Thank you for the recommendations. Many of the dramas I loved are dramas recommended to me.(Secret, I Can Hear Your Voice, Faith) Sometimes you can not judge by the synopsis or ad photo. There were a few outside of my usual genre choices... and I never would have watched. I have seen both Love 020 and Eternal Love. !!!! both reasons why I am in love with Chinese dramas, at the moment. I have watched a few Japanese and Thai dramas. Feel free to check my list. I rate all of them. Just keep in mind that I don't hate predictability and I LOVE a happy ending. If the drama has a very low score... it was likely a sad ending.

Really cute one. Can anyone tell me if Chinese dramas have just dramatically improved lately, there are more available because they are no longer pushing Kdramas in China, or Dramafever is just starting to carry more titles lately??? All of my most favorite dramas lately have come from China.

same character. it is just temporarily being played by different actress. there was a short message on the screen (at the beginning of episode 7) saying something about wishing Gu Hye Seon a speedy recovery and the part of Jung Hae Dang would be played by Jang Hee Jin.

I wonder if Viki or Dramafever would ever have it? ... If they do, I am totally going to watch this. Yang Yang is probably the only other actor I could see as Ye Hua

Where can I get myself a ye hua? He's too perfect
I like both. I am not sure how Ye Hua is the martyr, they all make these sacrifices. Mo Yuan also took lightning strikes for her. Mo Yuan also shattered his soul, risking his life to seal the bell. Her father fought the 4 mythical beasts. Bai Qian risked her life preserving and trying to save Mo Yuan. Ye Hua is not taking risks that everyone else, at his level, is not taking. The only real difference between Mo Yuan and Ye Hua is that Ye Hua pursued her romantically. Mo Yuan never let on that he knew she was a girl and never let on that he had special feelings for her. After losing her once, Ye Hua isn't wasting any time and isnt holding back.

Yesssss! Ye Hua and Mo Yuan both have their charms. 2 of my favorite scenes are Ye Hua's reaction to her telling him she wanted to marry him... (both times she proposes). Adorable.

I don't see him as a coward. He wasn't afraid to lose his position, he was afraid she would lose her life. I think it was incredibly brave to go as far as he did to convince others that he was indifferent to her. As a mortal (which he though she was), If his father wanted her punished or dead, he would not have been able to stop him. His only choice was to go along until he had enough power, to protect her. His only real mistake, was not to let her know he only did it to save her from worse punishment and who he was protecting her from.

I am not as excited about a movie as a tv series, for practical reasons. Korean movies are not always available to watch here. If they do become available to watch, it will not be when it first releases. Korean tv series are often available on viki or dramafever the day of or two days after it airs in Korea. I loved season 1. I really hope they do a season 2. In that, I would hope the original cast would reprise their roles for continuity.
If the movie is available to watch, I am going to watch it, no matter who the cast is. The movie is just a retelling of season 1 without more content, right?
I have lost my link to the webtoon. Is it still going?

When I watched the first season, I didn't know there would be a second. I was super unhappy with the end... now that I know there is a second season... I have my hopes up that the second season will give me the end I want.
