if you notice, when haeyoung and jiuk officially got together, after the illegitimate son identity got revealed, she made him to promise that there's nothing to hide anymore between them.

it's not the fact that he's the foster child that got her mad. it's the fact that he didn't tell her when he had a lot of chances.

haeyoung is always the one being open to him. since they commit in the relationship together, it's normal for her to expect the same from him.

had her foster sisters left years ago and surprised her with the exact same way jiuk did to her, she would have reacted the same.

it's basically just because he doesn't communicate things with her. she also got mad when jiuk and jayeon didn't tell about their big decision to her. you know when people closest to you doesn't share the important things related to you, you would feel like a fool. that's what she felt.

I like to think about that possibility too, that his dad was the mastermind. and it's also possible that his dad only covered his crime. or maybe there's a plot twist that actually it was her ex fiance.

whatever it's, that whole family is definitely sus.

isn't ott streaming platform more lenient when it comes to censorship tho? since they have different regulations compared with network tv and cable tv.

and I'm sure this is not something new and not the first kdrama on d+ with the intense violence, when they already have the worst of evil, moving, big bet/casino, etc. and those are their original series that don't even air on tv.
