and way before his wife wanted to use hae young, it was originally the chairman's idea. the next scene after he told mr. jang his plan to use hae young, mr. jang "accidentally" run into gyuhyun's mom on the way out. and the rest is history.

if you think about it, all the things happened according to the chairman's scenario. he's not only using jiuk, but he's also using his wife and gyuhyun. so that gyuhyun can use hae young to kick jiuk and that proves that gyuhyun is greedy enough to inherit the company.

don't know if it's because I have a cold. but watching ep 10, not only this felt like a usual feel good drama but I got a nostalgic feeling. it's the excitement of watching romcom like when I was younger and still clueless about the world lol.

I used to catch a cold every changing season and during a test/exam. and watching this when I'm not feeling well reminds me of the good old times for some reason lol

I guess if you treat romcom as an entertainment and not to put the logic too seriously, you'll enjoy it more.

I'm going to make onion broth for breakfast after this. I heard it's good for your body. I had it for dinner the first time, and I enjoyed it so much. it felt like it melted the rock in my nose and throat lol.

the bug dad is really a trash. not only did he cheat and betrayed his family, but the audacity of him to use his illegitimate son is beyond words.

tbh if there's a chance, I want to see hae in to play in historical. and maybe played as jung yak yeong. I don't think his character was shown on the red sleeve. although the book of fish told a part his story, a drama can widely explore more to his character. he's one of the historical figures I want to see again in a recent production drama.

of course playing a real historical figure and being a direct descendant who inherits his surname could be a pressure. but it can also be a challenge. it needs to be written properly.

my gut feeling tells there's something fishy with that politician and his sons. I refuse to believe that he asked for bitna's news because of pure kindness. what if the fact the she has "amnesia" is a good news to them? and they want to know about her condition just in case she recovered all of her memory. because maybe there's something that they wished she would just forget about.

could it be that either him or one of his two sons was the mastermind behind her death? it could be related to his political shenanigans, his first son's dirty business or his 2nd son's criminal case. or maybe all of it combined. it could be the reason why she called off their engagement before that, because she wanted to take their case (if the possibility is true).

definitely she doesn't aim to be a michelin star level, especially not after what she had been through. she might just want to be good at what she's doing, that's why she's taking a class to upgrade her skilll. but trying to be the best at her field and investing most of her time on it, she had done that before. she learned the hard way, it's better for her to enjoy the present. her goal is not to dream big anymore, but just to live her life.

and she talked about how she run a cooking channel. she's at that level. and I don't know about anyone, but as soon as she started cooking the nuanced feels different. there's definitely a different mood that the production team tried to show the synergy when she's cooking. when I watch her cooks, that's exactly how I felt when I watched yt cooking videos like liziqi, dianxi xiaoge, etc. the aesthetic of cooking on a daily life. the atmosphere shifted subtly, but I can tell she has a soul for cooking. she even said cooking is such a soothing routine for her.

so no, she'll never gonna take it so seriously like how she used to study for the college entrance exam. she chooses a cooking class because it's a joy for her and has a plan to make a living through it. but she won't force herself to the limit anymore.
