The part where it said that he's is on the run? And that the other guy becomes mad (presumably ryang eom)Was it…
"Have you heard of the sound of a flower blooming in the spring? Today, I got to hear that special sound"
You explained it so well. Yeah, from their monologues, it seemed like they were talking from a distance future, since we haven't seen it yet. I believe at some point, they'd be together. But I doubt it'd last forever. Because unlike LJH, Gil Chas was talking in a past tense. So their monologues kinda had a different time line I'm afraid.
And I just keep thinking about that scene where JH was holding a bloody sword on the beach. He was staring at the sun-set like he was thinking about someone far away. His tears were falling and he said "Do you hear it? It is the sound of the flowers."
Why did he cry? Because he was about to fight with joseon people? But he's talking about the sound of flowers. Why did he cry when he's going fight and thinking about gil chae? That scene couldn't be just a random scene. And I'm nervous about it.
Wdym? π± According to neanthal calendar, Nosunaho is still underage I believe. πMy girl nunbyeol was asking…
Yeah, it could be an innocent curiosity. But maybe not too. It's not because of my delulu braincells refuse to see the reality π But their next convo was Issruv told Nosu that she wasn't coming to them for 'that'.
By his expression, apparently Nosu thought that she was going to live with them for good and maybe to restart the neanthal civilization. There's a chance that nunbyeol asked about Rottip is the subtle way from the writer that there will be something going on between them. π
Did you mean like a poliandry? Because I was thinking about it too. I hope no one will attack me for saying this lol. It's not like I morally agree with it, but like what you said, it's common in that era. And if there's no other choice, they can do that in order to prevent their extinction. Then they could cross-breed their children from different fathers.
But apparently there's another female neanthal out there where Eknad is coming from. Hopefully π
Maybe an unpopular opinion here but I think I prefer Ryang Eum over Gil Chae. Yes, he lied to her but Jang Hyun…
I love to learn the dynamic of Ryang Eom's character. And I can relate to him. But it's also understandable for gil chae's decision. Knowing her guts, it's impossible for her to swallow her pride in front of the man she left behind. I can't even imagine myself doing that.
How can she do that to him too? After what she did to him, she can't bear to use him even if it's just for a simple favor. Let alone saving her from a tyrant's palace. Knowing that the worst scenario, she may as well put him in danger.
Apparently, the unconditional love whether it's romantic or platonic goes like this, ryang eom => lee jang hyun => gil chae => yeonjun
I was a bit disappointed at jang hyun regarding that knife too. And I I agree that ljh at least needs to be open with ryang eom about his feeling to gil chae. Because ryang eom couldn't understand it until recently. Actually he doesn't have an obligation to explain that, because it's his private matter. But they understand each other everything except for their hearts. They don't talk about what they feel which caused a gap of understanding between them.
In S1 Tagon didn't want to kill Arthdal people. It was a bit unfair for Eunseom to say only he has a plan for…
Tagon and Eunsom are different. Young Tagon was the mastermind of the mass neanthal genocide. Eunsom doesn't have a spirit to do that. Their roots are different.
To put it simpler, let's see it from Yangcha's point of view. He was a loyal subject of Tagon, and he even didn't agree with how Tagon leading the world.
Maybe you're right. When Eunsom is taking the throne, he will face the same problem like Tagon. But the question is, will he make the same decision?

In most drama, usually the fl who has that struggle
I didn't realize it. Because that's a very subtle way.
I guess it will unfold later

Was it the hint that he might start a new life with gil chae?

I share the same concern bout that scene too.
