Judging from the description, the story sounds like it's just one huge love triangle. And it seems it's the typical…
It not anything like that. The description doesn't really describe it. Yes it has a love triangle, but that's not the main point. It's not a typical sml involved. It's more like a love and war.
Is he really naive? Actually, he seems to have learnt a lot since his first appearance in part 1. We don't learn…
Yes, he is. When he told his father that the Qing is flexible and different from what he heard inside the walls, he failed to see it from his dad's point of view. King was paranoid of the intruders and no matter the son put logic on his, there's a gap of understanding between them.
And he couldn't sense that the king was being inferior of his presence, when lee jang hyun could smell it miles away. By telling him that, it rubbed off on the king's face the wrong way. It's as if telling him that the crown prince could handle the Qing better than the King.
Not until he came back to Simyang, and they asked Joseon this and that and cut off their supplies. He realized that his father was right after all, they're not as flexible as it seemed.
He's naive but it's understandable. Because the writer is good at building his character. He was privileged in the palace and never see the outside world. He's a book smart and not a street smart.
But like lee jang hyun said, he has a strong mindset because he's still holding it in. And his willingness to adapt with the situation is clever. He knows how to survive despite his limit. You're right, I hope we can learn more of his sides later. And I want to see his character to develop more. Especially after he got a reality check at the slave market. That must felt like a slap on his face. And after LJH put some sense to him, I want to see how he will end up in the future.
I read the history somewhere and I forget the name. But I hope he's that son who came back to joseon for good.
Sheltered privileges, they were leaders by blood and even so they were always pawns of power hungry people
Ikr, it makes them become awkward leaders. I laughed in disbelief when the eunuch asked lee jang hyun what they had to do to survive before he left to ganghwa island lol
When will the slavery scenes end? I couldn't bear to watch it any longer🥵
Serem yah. Aku agak merem merem nontonnya. My scaredy cat braincells just fast forwarded some scenes automatically. 😂 I'm afraid kisahnya lee jang hyun sampai akhir konfliknya akan seputar ini. Mungkin baru kelar pas povnya ganti ke inspektur di masa depan yg di ep 1 itu. T.T
Her sister doesn't fully break the curse . The curse happened if you kiss a guy first time . And if you break…
I see, so that's how it works. That means if they fall in love with another guy, they need to struggle again to do the kiss, unless they stuck with the guy who broke the first kiss forever.
Ikr, it's torturing lol But my other braincell is processing the other way to make it fun while waiting. I think this drama can be a good companion to watch with heavy genres.
Because this is so cheesy, cute and light warming, that's perfect to neutralize our feeling after watching an emotionally drained drama.
I think a criticism is fair as long as it's not a hate comment. But I understand where you're coming from. I'm…
I don't speak for those who hate him behind the name of criticism. That I agree that many people are hating on him because he's popular and some of his previous works always find its way to reach major audiences. I know some people who purposely hating what's popular and what everyone's like and think that they're superior than other people for doing that.
Anyway I agree that the hate towards him is not necessary. And when I said that criticism is fair, what I meant was objective criticism.

My comment was not directed to criticize him nor hating on him. It wasn't my purpose. I wrote "the hate towards him is overrated" because I've seen so many people hating on him just because he's popular and I don't condone it, that's why I said that. Although I'm not a fan of him, but I enjoy his works and I have a sympathy for him. I don't have anything against him and I have the same frustration when I see many people hate on him.
I understand why you're being like this, maybe you've dealing with too many haters but please don't always assume that everyone is a hater and coming for everyone with this kind of attitude.
Maybe you don't see it, and it's impossible for me and even for you to comment everywhere that we don't have anything against eunwoo. Because my comment was in general purpose. I even criticize my favorite actor too, as a part of criticizing the drama and that's fair for me. And maybe you don't see it but I defended eunwoo and songkang at other posts because I couldn't stand the hate.
There's nothing wrong with criticism and I live by that value. Don't coming at me and accused me hating on someone when I don't.
Sorry if I don't respond nicely to you because I treat people based on how they treated me.
And don't comment everywhere with this attitude in the name of eunwoo because you'll only make it worse and hurt his image. Are you sure you care about him?

Thanks for the information °^°
It's Lee Jang Hyun who caused the butterfly effect.

But being patient is easier said than done 😂
