Had I didn't see Hyun Wook insta post I would never noticed that the boy who threw the cigarette to Sukku's car was him. 😭 Bcs he was covered in (mud?). I was wondering where he gone. The situation had a strange vibe so I thought they supposed to deal with that brat at some point before they deal with the soldier related to the the case. Didn't realize they were the same person. 😭

What a splendid appearance 👏 He nailed a character who deserved some punch so well. Even Sukku admitted his love to Hyun Wook's acting. I don't think he would never shut up talking about it, he keep mentioning Hyun Wook like a proud uncle. 😭 After Jirisan and DP2, I want to see them again in another series as the main leads please 😭

I don't think Sarang was intimidated. If anything she saw the thing eye to eye with his father. She's the type of person who can stand up on her own if she wanted to.

She wasn't really agree with his decision but deep down she felt like it's okay if he thought it was for the best. She didn't object not because she was intimidated but due to her respect to the chairman instead.

If you really pay attention to the characterization, they presented both the chairman and Sarang as two mature adults with no lack of good communication skill. He respected her and the feeling is mutual. There's no need to intimidate her and he knew it all to well she wasn't that type of person.

But I totally agree that this is all a cliche trope. The way that the chairman talked to her like a really mature adult wasn't cliche at all tho.

And there's no need to drag down other drama in this discussion as it will only fishing negative arguments and be out of topic.

Couldn't agree more. His character here is a bit annoying at first but in a good way. It only means that his acting was successful.

You can watch Tomorrow. It fits to your description. The drama explored more about reincarnation and past life too. Each episode is presenting a different case. Not a romantic drama. The content of love story maybe just 1%. It's darker and please prepare a box of tissue.

Yes that plays a major role to their character development. His friend's case too, despite what was really behind his death, Lim Ji Seop well aware that the system was the root problem.

And he said that he learned a lot from Sergeant Park Bum Goo. It's good that he had a good comrade.

His speech at the court was like one of the best parts.

It's so funny now that I remember Choi Hyun Wook was playing the younger version of Son Sukku in Jirisan. Knowing what Sukku's character did to him here 😂

You really describe him so well. I only remember that his character was kinda grey in season 1. I couldn't really decide which side he would end up with. He seemed like someone who needed to safe himself despite his position but there's also some conscience left on him. But I still wasn't sure. So it's nice that we can see more of his sides in this season.

I know this is a very cliche romcom, but this is the reason why it's definitely not following that typically cliche drama.

The part where Sarang and Guwon had a conversation at the restaurant left a deep impression on me. He was so anxious and had something in mind. Usually the fl would say something like "I'm okay" at that situation, but she wasn't. She was being open to him. She told him what's on her mind, they talked about it. He did the same thing. That was so.... nice to see.

Old cliche drama was full of never ending bickering but surprisingly the ml had an amazing ability to read the fl mind. But Sarang and Gowon are far more realistic here. It sounds like a simple detail that can be in any stories, but no it's totally not. And whoever wrote that must be really experienced in a relationship or in life maybe.

And if the writer wanted to write a a slice of life tear jerker realistic anti romantic or whatever drama, they're more than capable of doing that. But this is a romcom regardless. The frame is cliche, but not all of the content is.

Her ex was so nasty doing that, knowing so well how the society would do to her. I don't see that as a problem too. Agree, I think he wouldn't mind, he's such a gentleman.

But she's still being petty in the end. She doesn't even think objectively for her own good. She needs to know how to stop or she'll only hurting herself. If she really wants to beat him that much at least be smart and handle her emotion.

Kim Sung Kyun is such a great actor and one of the gems in this season but I'm sorry every time he's in a serious situation I keep thinking of Kim sajang 😭 That never fails to make me giggle. That happens during Weak Hero too. How can I unsee kim sajang 😭

The little reunion with Reply 88 casts doesn't help either 😭 I forgot what happened in S1 that I was excited for a moment to see GKP 😭 I was like oh here he comes to the rescue.
