At first I thought the 3rd prince was so naive to willingly compromise with jiang tao hua because it'll expose himself and eventually lead szy to him.
but no, it was actually a very calculative move. tho I bet he knew he was betting himself but he trusted his brain and his gut feeling.
and it doesn't matter, wether jth faked her amnesia or the possibility of her to gain her memory back later if her amnesia was real. because he already planned his way out and how to gain benefit from her.
he knew that jth genuinely cared about qing tai. and with that sudden visit, the 3rd prince confirmed that szy had fallen for jing taohua. jth would become szy's weakness. and as a loverboy himself, mu wuyin was very satisfied, to see a potential tool right before his eyes.
but shen zaiye was very different from the 3rd prince tho. yes he fell for her but he wasn't blinded.
"... park seokcheol, eldest grandson of the third-generation chaebol.......................... and his first love kang migyeong, who dreams of becoming a gangster..."
That particular scene is somewhat tragic in my view. We always think SZY is the most powerful, but above him,…
yes it's kind of a reality check for us, lol.
and there's just something artistic when the scene didn't literally show how it happened but at the same time gave the viewers an understanding of what actually happened. I appreciate they did it that way. it made it more meaningful.
ooooo I love the pace. I guess I can really vibe so well with this. you know that feeling when you watch a drama and watching the scenes don't feel like you watch the passing cars from the side of the street. but the feeling like you could translate it scene by scene, if that's even make sense. the drama and my mood are in a perfect sync. everything is in a harmony. even the ost sounds timeless. I love this feeling.
I'm sorry, I'm kinda lost but who are they? does one of them the third son from the family who designed archery?
ah right. thanks for the explanation. I got confused between wuyin and.... omg I just realised that my mind messed up big time. I'm also currently watching Melody of Golden Age while watching this. the plot and the characters are kinda mixed in my mind lol.
in my understanding vertical drama is a very very short drama that lasted around 2 minutes per episode. they have around 80 to a hundred of episodes in total. it's a short drama comfortably to watch through your phone. hence they made it with a vertical layout.
I only recognise Yuyin here. she's an actress playing a supporting role in this series. she's a known actress in vertical dramaland.
maybe you've ever crossed with a vertical drama ads when you're scrolling yt shorts, tiktok, or ig reels. they are available on youku, blibli, tencent and their own platforms too like on reelshort, dramabox and etc. usually the conflict is very dramatic. it's like an instant makjang family intrics with a lot of emotional and physical abuse for 3 hours and 10 seconds of a happy ending. but right now, there are some well written scripts with normal and healthy relationship in vertical drama too.

I really hate how my mind read the synopsis π

what does skills for romance mean? lol
is it like she's an active player and never takes it seriously?
and I've seen some people talked that apparently it literally explained in the novel.
