yeah, I think satire is the more suitable word to describe it. the way the sfl described the fl's interest in a hot director character, etc and that dialogue when fl's brother called the ml dumb and a doormat... I chuckled at that scene because it felt like the screenwriter take some notes from the mdl comments and made it into the dialogue lol. I won't be surprised if later I hear the word "simping" from one of the character lol

this is clearly over the top comedy. this drama is actually mocking and making a fool of the cliche trope in the kdama itself. I don't know why some people expect the characters to act like they're in a slice of life drama 😭

ain't no way people actually believe their characters here are supposed to realistic. no, it's supposed to be that way. they're made to look silly. can't you see they're being sarcastic of this genre by making fun of themselves?

this is actually a very smart comedy when the characters are roasting themselves.
