What irresponsible idiot wrote such ending? Why he/she advises people to drink unknown chemically advanced substance because some of them might be magic pills? What an obnoxious a$$hole.

He/she completely rewrote scenario of the novel, which was 100 times more interesting than this travesty. What an ego, could not use other people work, and thought he/she will make it better. This person should never touch screen work.

Technically and realistically it’s his right to fight for custody. Good parents also fight for custody. It happens…
At least I think for myself and do not associate with minority or majority. But thanks for comments

Oh my. Way way off. Selfless means to give up something important for just you - career, relationship, etc. What he gives up? Father? Her? Child? He is just indecisive tries to fiddle between all of them and tries cater their needs, as he is good man. He is afraid hurting other people which = indecisive. Selfless = decisive. He is not selfless (anti-selfish), he just have no self-worth. He is just voiceless. There are many scenes there father cuts off him and he cannot finish his own thoughts. Same with TJ. She is always conversation ender, not him. Therefore he feels no self-worth and is depressed, how father nullyfied his desires and how she harshly break off without proper explanation. Feeling no self-worth he is incapable being forceful.

Mature? Not. He is calm, slow-witted (more in a good sense) but not mature, His immaturity is best shown when he asks out his friend in the car. He cant express his own original idea why they should become couple and did not even think what are her needs. Mature is to predict and think for other people. Mature is to take responsibility. Let say dying father, he does not take responsibility for it and think what will happen to his company after he dies. He ignores even though he is asked multiple times by lawyer. He is so irresponsible that his ex had herself to tell about new relationship.

He means well and treats well TJ, but it is not showcase for his maturity. He never makes feel her secure. He never thinks in her own shoes what are her basic needs, given her animosity to his father. He literally could not even pick right size shoe for her as he send many sizes and left choice for her.

He is good man. But. He is more selfabsorbed than being selfless. He is more naïve than being mature.

He would be pitiful if he was 14 years old teenager oppressed by environment, not as smart 28 year old adult capable creating his own environment.

Technically and realistically he should be adult. Adult understands that during fight for custody each side will try portray other side negatively. Therefore before going to court they try to talk. Lets say its drama and for drama purposes they do not talk. But there is no scene where he tells someone he wants that child should live with him not the mother. He should tell this to his lawyer, what are his demands. It is okay to have such demands. We see scenes where TJ talks to her lawyer. There is no scenes NY openly talking with his, Producers create a fog like he is somehow pure innocent in this situation, he is manipulated by his father and blindsided by his lawyer. They create optics by giving scenes from one side and omitting same scenes from other side. Like he is not involved in this and he is victim of environment and we should pity. I say it is impossible to be uninvolved as he had to sign documents here and there.

If NY would be evil character - producers show the scene where he signs document himself for going to the court for custody.
If NY suppose good character - producers smartly omit this scene that viewers would blame domineering evil father. NY did not made this decision, it is father. Lets pity him because he is depressed and incapable of being adult (well it is unexplainable miracle he is oustanding cardiosurgeon).

I am really waiting to see how the ML is going to respond when he finds out. Though I think after all that's happened…
Yeah I think too. But kinda it is ... boring. It was good drama, almost great. I will still watch last four eps. But it is not exciting like it was in the middle.

I don't like where it is going. "Everything is forgiven, we are all family" blah blah.
It is more satisfying antagonist getting what they deserved (f.e. jail time). Main character becoming toothless, all forgiving and characterless is disappointing.

Are you from Asia (regarding the power tripping/bullying)? I'm just asking because it'll be easier for me to explain…
Abuse is not shocking, reaction to it is. It is not so dissimilar situation in Europe in military environment. Verbal abuse, physical abuse, bullying is common and expected. One difference that everyone can name things by their real names - abuse is abuse, etc. Also everybody knows whose where authority lies and when someone abuses it. Here no character understands what senior can do and cannot. Everyone is brainwashed.

Here is total different situation from normal militaristic training. Maybe you heard about famous prison experiment where random people selected as prisoners and other group randomly became guards. Here that senior is in similar situation. He has no authority, he is not employed instructor, he is student in training so he cannot expel student on the spot. He has nothing to threat them with. So he chooses psychological torture as guards chose in that famous experiment. In Europe everybody would know that his behaviour is abnormal even for a senior or a mentally healthy person. There are many dramas here too about psychopathic trainer and how main leads cannot change situation and just suck it up. The difference is that even secondary characters identify things by their real names. Not like students make jokes about psychopath as naming him "hell". Not like students who can be deceived with "extended training" which was filmed. The shock is that students also in conversations between themselves call it as extended training not as uncalled abuse.

@inneoish to not be rude. Can you identify bullying AND power tripping? How do you describe scenes with sick student? I can explain why these are bullying and power tripping.

| Do we want a reform in this society? We absolutely do.

That is my main point. In other kdramas it is shown by some characters reacting, pointing out. There is usually at least one character who has common sense. Here two main characters just voiced their momentary dissatisfaction and then there was just normal everyday. I am appalled to such reaction because one of main topics of this drama is bullying under guise of "conservative school". This is just another school drama but I never saw such reaction to bullying and I watched few of them. I am disappointed that no characters even identifies it as bullying and power tripping. This drama depicts society who does not want reform. This is why I am shocked.

edit: There is difference between being harsh and bullying. You can be strict, harsh, whatever without being bully. This was not the case.
There is difference between verbal abuse and psychological abuse/torture. Here it was later one.

From Europe and I understand most Asian ideology. I understand why exposure is bad thing in these cultures. But there is no explanation for systematic bullying and reaction to it. Confucianism and conservatism does not have such behaviour in them,

So no one bats eye about bullying and power tripping?? Zero characters sees it as wrong? Some brainwashing happened here. Everybody is concerned about who filmed but nobody cares why it even happens,

Overall it is disappointing drama from first 2 episodes. Setup is promising - great secondary characters, such as cleaner, funny scenes, on screen chemistry etc. But writing is terrible. Main plot - conspiracy to close the school is boring and overused. Especially it is hard to root for the school with bullying in design from top to down.

Quality drama, astonishing acting, seems actors researched field very well or at least were coached by salespeople. Business problems were too realistic, like in documentary, better than most corporate elearning tutorial.

BUT overall drama is ugly and depressing. There were no decent characters, everyone is trashy inside, especially ML and FL. It suits common saying "Salespeople sell their own souls". Maybe who still had their souls are pregnant with husband, bar owner and Fast owner. Only these four from all 20-30 characters because only ones wanted to be happy. Everyone else had weird desires. Drama is very dark.

Producers cooking some weird stuff. Actors real age difference is 7 years, but characters suppose have 29 years of difference?? On screen feels that they act for their real ages, not characters. In no way they look as have 29 year gap. Why they were even casted?

Title Who Is the Murderer Spoiler
Plot holes:1. From time when HS left SY's dad's hospital till last murder is 30 year gap. So these muscle relaxants…
1,2 I stand corrected.
3. When he delivered notebook with picture of last victim, he wrote it is last step before you can see me. He always told her to do things to see him in future. Also he sent her all evidences needed to plant on fake killer. Also we know SY did not communicate with him, only he sent messages to her. So this deliberate plan is only possible if planner is HS. You could only argue whether this plan matured 17-years ago or just recently.

In book it is resolved by making SY killer of last victim. But here she is not.

4, 5. Being killer does not give you bonus points to be able break people mentally. Reading books only means he was on par with 14-teen years old talented girls intelligence. By no means he is no leader in psychiatry field and to be able break mentally one of the best university students without any medication. And especially psychiatry student. If any hillbilly who started learning writing at 16 years old by reading library books can break mentally healthy intelligent people left and right, probably our planet would be in a little bit bigger chaos. Same goes if any ... can create perfect crimes then ....

Title Who Is the Murderer Spoiler
They finished with too many plot holes. I would chose another killer to explain this.
Plot holes:
1. From time when HS left SY's dad's hospital till last murder is 30 year gap. So these muscle relaxants still work as indented to? Just how much he needs to steal to commit 6 murders?
2. Mentally ill orphan hillbilly possessed expensive camera (5th murder scene)? Where did he get the money?
3. Again uneducated hillbilly knows psychiatry nuances and plans 17-teen years ahead that SY will find imposter killer and will be capable into creating one??
4. So this hillbilly is so meticulous that there is not even dandruff on crime scenes or parcels. He knows extensive knowledge of criminal law how to make perfect crimes.
5. How this hillbilly managed make SY's roommate breakdown and make her mentally ill that no one can cure her in 10 years?

And there are many small ones, like why the hell SY was so invested in finding about Xia Mu's mental illness?

Everything would be solved if you add another layer and plot twist to make real culprit the psychiatrist who heals Xia Mu. He has motive, access to medicine, money, access to police information, and psychiatric knowledge.
F.e. He was competitor of SY's dad and was jealous of him. After HS was kicked out, he still needed doctor, so he took him and manipulated him into committing these heinous crimes.
He works with police has knowledge what is progress of investigation. At least it would make more sense than this nonsense.
