Title Suparb Burut Satan Spoiler
sad ending?
supernatural = not natural by definition, I never said anything about superpowers. In the scene with coffin everything was not natural.

Roy Chiu plays GF well, I think saw series where he had identical role. But his character is not essential to the story, more replaceable although he has great chemistry with other characters. I would not like older FL actress. I think VC is perfect here, how she portrayed her character is unique in dramaland. I would rather they gave role to younger ML, early twenties so age gap not awkward, since VC is minor. I think you could easily find who could play depressive, mature, businesslike+emotionless. And to accommodate younger character do minor changes - in tragic background change from ex-girlfriend to sister, from business partner to mentoree, etc.

On other hand it was quite hard task for producers to find who could play GF. As ms. boss already fills the role emotionless, robot-like. Also drama should be not so romantic centric as based about accountants. All circumstances points out ML character being side character rather than lead. For actor to transform side character into lead is astonishing task.

Overall producing team did great job on casting. Age is just number, and I did not feel that watching this drama as in other dramas with close to 20 year age gap.

This mother and daughter relationship just wow. Their chemistry is on another level. And every scene with friendenemy I love it. Most likeable of friendenemy duo I ever seen. Writing, acting first ¬20 episodes amazing. Very original comparing to other Chinese dramas. Very realistic characters. One of best dramas in the year already.

FL character written really well. And Vicky Chen exceptionally well portrays it.

I just pity ML actor, he seems very awkward in romantic scenes with minor. Realy it is not romantic scenes per se, it just shows of ML caring towards FL. Everytime he needs body contact (pet, touch shoulder or hug) with FL by the script, he does very unnatural. Ending of 29 episode is very cringeworthy, how it was unnatural. Probably whole production team wanted to have fewer takes and get over quickly.

After 20 or so episodes writers added usual clichés just to extend series, but I have zero complain about it, because already I fell in love with many characters.

Ending of 7th episode terrible. FL is selfish as hell. I know it is comedy and writers wanted more funny scenes between ML and 2ML, but it is too much, too blatant and too obvious. It was fun easy going romance with mature conversations in between, about purpose of life and whatnot. It will be hard to pick up after episode 7.

It was actually because they were showing us that she cares for him and is ready to make him her priority which…
These scenes are ok for build up (as it was used here too), but not for closing argument to relationship (as it is second to last step of their relationship). This is book example how to not end drama in high note.

I do not know how can you remain ignorant and not see what you are tricked. F.e. inside car scene was used in first half. Then they repeat the same scene just leads change the seats (roles). Producers could not be any cheaper and do for actors such disservice.

This drama followed the Web novel . How can they reduce episodes from a Web novel. And you should use spoiler tag…
I wish too. Especially more screen time for CEO. It still would need to create enough substance for 20 episode drama. And it could be, as you say, development of the side characters' relationships. But it was not planned from very beginning. There was no build up for that.

I repeat that this drama failed at planning. They had great characters portrayed by great actors. But it went down the drain, because someone's lazy ass, and these actors ended up acting cheapest scenes. These scenes are ok for build up, but not for closing drama in high note.

I mean not stopped at 10 episode, but planned for 10 episodes. There is not enough substance, it is not about likeness. People like to watch cat videos on youtube all day long and that is ok. It is not about length.

Producers when plan drama, they plan by substance - amount of story drivers (external conflicts or inner growth obstacles for slow burn drama), amount of side characters and their stories, etc.

Compare to every other 16 episode drama and see that clearly here is not enough of substance. Compare to 10-12 episode dramas it is about the same amount. This drama is very similar to Dinner Mate. It also did not have enough substance and flopped in second half.

I edited out part that could count as spoiler. Is this ok?

It does not matter what drama is based on. Always there are scene writers whether drama uses main novel writer or not. Therefore it is called adaptation.

Tell me how this story could not be told in 10 episodes?

I could see originality in first half, but later it stopped as someone got lazy. Last few episodes are dragging - some non-essential business talk and in between some cheap chemistry scenes.

Well, they gave us beautifully packaged crap. Producers used most cheapest playbook ever. "Holding hands in dangerous situation", "suddenly healthy human gets stomach ache and other buys medicine", "driver looking at sleeping passenger", "getting squeezed in elevator". I am usually turn blind eye to such crap, because usually it is in the initial episodes and characters have not much in common, are in phase of getting knowing each other. Here they used in last episodes and used TWICE same playbook.

This drama should have been 10 episodes. Writers could not create enough content. How to rate this drama? First half was decent, but...

I am only one who disappointed how drama shifted from office romance to long distance "problem"? It does not even matter who was right who was wrong, or even if they get back together. Long distance is too big topic and it deserves more than two episodes.

Towards end drama went bland and writers did not had enough content therefore they added another topic. Drama had realistic style, but seems producers abandoned this and will resolve it unrealistically. This couple had too many issues even without "long distance", but none of them will be touched and acted emotionally. There will be some logical reason (or cheap misunderstanding) why they break up and something will be revealed last minute and we will wait for decision from someone. It is so boring...

There is reason why every k-drama leads must break up at second or third before last episode. Just many writers do not know how use this tool properly and many dramas gets destroyed,

It is terrible. Zero originality. It seems like first ever drama written and directed by artificial intelligence. Human could not be so bad. It gives similar feeling to reading articles written by Open AI GTP-3.

They took most iconic scenes from popular movies 20 years ago like Matrix, Mission Impossible, Terminator,.. etc. Mixed and mashed them into series without zero logic. One scene FL like immortal fights 40 black man like in the Matrix, the next scene like in majkang melodrama she gets easily shot at wedding straight next to altar and crying next to the lover.

This drama is epitome why almost half modern dramas fail. Producers are too greedy for money and target internet audience too hard. They try to create many "shareable" scenes and think that internet audience will create memes from them and it will boost drama ratings.

This happens then all decisions are made by marketers but not in collaboration with artists. It is beyond my understanding how these reputable actors agreed to this low quality production.

I agree the story is unbalanced, but she is the main lead, and I guess this is about her growth. I am not a doctor,…
From episode 19 is breakthrough and story again gains momentum. I suggest to skip 12-18 episodes because nothing happens.
It seems writers do not have enough content for 44 episodes. There will be times then it will be repetitive and boring. Just I had high hopes for this drama. I was amazed how they made characters a little bit more realistic and were not afraid to make them unlikable compared to usual dramas. If they had invested more in writing this drama would stand out as among the best in this year.

Something is wrong with writer's moral compass. Comparing to original this has much better acting, better producing, scenes are more dynamic, characters are more interesting. Producers fixed many mistakes and made better overall drama. But written dialogues are so morally wrong. Writer maybe did not watched original or misunderstood reasoning behind character actions.

I agree the story is unbalanced, but she is the main lead, and I guess this is about her growth. I am not a doctor,…
Yeah I was the same for me till 12 ep. But nothing changed for 6 more episodes.

At first 3 episodes it gave intrigue for FL character - she has almost supernatural ability to see organs in 3d similar like ML. Also she had misunderstanding/mystery for other characters as illegitimate daughter of dean. It seemed it will bring positive chaos for whole hospital - Dr. Xu went out of comfort zone to start asking for favours, ML started getting critique from dean instead of only praises etc. But later it never gets build upon. FL never demonstrates her super ability, is nothing more than punching bag. Also as of episode 18 all interactions with other characters are toned down - Dr. Xu quit hospital, FL is no more competition for Dr. Gu, ML and FL stopped conflicting with no romance in horizon.

In short FL became dumb overoptimistic hardworking overemotional unprofessional girl like every other drama. She lost her feistiness, character uniqueness which had in first episodes. Also unprofessionalism is ok in other type dramas but for medical is big no for me.

In other medical drams they resolve that by assigning different type mistakes to different characters. As viewer we understand these mistakes are due to personality traits and at the same time we appreciate more these characters. But here FL does every possible mistake. F.e. at first during operations she is like a scary cat afraid to make a move. This lack of confidence causes mistakes. Later few episodes she is given an easy task, and suddenly she is overconfident that is too easy. It causes confrontation, because previously in every scene in operation room FL failed miserably. This jump from lack of confidence to overconfidence is unexplainable.

I had high expectations - kinda realistic setting, a little bit unconventional characters with subtle and deep emotions, but after 18 episodes I give up. There is no story.

Just writers took all possible scenarios where doctor could make mistake or get into unfavourable situation and merged that into drama. The most unbalanced thing that the only one making mistakes is FL. Imagine Greys Anatomy where only one character makes mistakes and creates drama. Writers introduce new situation/patient about each two episodes, and I asked myself what worst thing doctor could do in that situation. Next thing 100% FL does this. I could understood if it was few times in first episodes as a setting for character growth. But almost half series and 80% screen time FL making obvious mistakes and then trying to resolve them.

In half situations FL should be fired on the spot. They made her so dumb. Also in one scenario she is overemotional and too attached, in another she is unempathetic and ignoring. In one scenario she lack confidence in another she is overconfident. She will behave in the only way which leads to mistake. At least writers are consistent.

P.S. For who takes words literally. Minor side characters also make mistakes - cannot put needle, misdiagnosis of patient, conflicting diagnosis between doctors, conflict with parents etc. but their resolution takes maximum 30s screen time. So emotionally drama focus is only on FL mistakes.

Title So Wayree Spoiler
I understand that this is lakorn and they are illogical so people should take its script with grain of salt. But…
First of all, in many countries law infrastructure and people education is behind. Therefore if your country still does not punish for rape situation, does not mean that is ok to do it.

So I present you where lies the line of consent. Ultimate case: Married couple. Wife is drunk without orientation. If husband performs nonviolent sexual act without previous wife consent means he raped his wife. It is often called date rape.
There is no country who punishes date rape by law, because people are not educated enough and there is no agreeable punishment for this.

So my rant:
- marriage does not mean automatic consent
- having previous sexual intercourse with your girlfriend/woman does not give automatic consent
- prostitute can choose her clients, therefore you need consent for her services
- being "easy"/"bad"/"dirty"/"immoral" woman does not mean automatic consent
- flirt does not mean automatic consent
- kiss does not mean automatic consent
- being alone in the room/hotel room does not mean automatic consent
- being pretty and having open dress does not mean automatic consent

Maybe you already get idea. There is no such thing as an automatic consent. Consent literally means that it must be verbal and one at a time.

I am seeing people here comment like it was situation as in "Fated to love you" and ML is innocent. "He did not know she was drugged" and other nonsenses as arguments. He never talked with FL and it was impossible for him to get her consent. What does it make difference if she was drugged or drunk? What does it make difference if he thinks she is easy going and has bad character?

I understand that this is lakorn and they are illogical so people should take its script with grain of salt. But I am so disappointed that so many commenters here took it literally and as a possible love story in real life. It is 2020 and so many people do not understand what is a consent for sexual relationship.
There were so many lazy excuses that ML did not rape FL. Below I will try to debunk them all if you think your reason is unique please comment me.
I know it is impossible to win internet but still..

>The storyline is repetitive and bland
I could not disagree more. It is far more interesting than tropes of arrogant CEO and fake contract relationship. It is realistic drama, not overdramatic. It depends on your taste, does not mean that it is bad. Myself I despise fake tragedies, emotional rollercoasters.
>not worthy of the caliber of the leads
This script makes shine their acting capabilities. Casting job is done great. It is harder to act nuances and they do quality job. People who cannot see these details cannot appreciate them. Definitely this drama will make them rise in ranks for great producers and directors.
>I see no romance
Here romance is not important to storyline. Here romance is just a filler.

Title Something Just Like This Spoiler
The only thing I do not like here. It is not XiXi father, but reaction to him by other characters. His character…
Not true. ML father never offered shares to his son too. It is not how business works. Furthermore doing bad things it is not the path to get shares.

FL father just instigates conflict that FL get away from adoptive family. Instead loving father would give tips to daughter how that adoptive family would see his daughter in brighter light and appreciate her more, so that they would "offer her shares". He would make her advantages shine, f.e. she is great leader and inspires other people to be competitive, therefore she adds more value to your company than you think. Loving father would not put his daughter in more stress than she is. Even if he wants conflict he should do it by himself by talking with ML father, not putting his daughter in frontline and comfortably watching from sidelines.

ML father raised her. Treated with utmost respect. I do not get the notion that he is using her. He put team of duo so that it benefits Ruylive company. He would not risk the company just to train the son. He would find other position in main company for son to be competitive if she would not agree to being CEO.
FL is not entitled to ML father's riches just because he raised her, when she is left by irresponsible father.
