How it is at this point is how it stays throughout, imo.
Thanks for telling me. Iāll save my time and try something else. Itās like "Speed and Love" everyone rated it so highly, but I got up to ep 18 and found the pacing really off, and the actress was acting poorly⦠which is surprising because I usually like her dramas...

I honestly donāt understand why the ratings are so high. I expected something much better⦠especially since the acting is really bad and, three episodes in, thereās absolutely no chemistry between them.
im at ep 3 , and Iām honestly wondering if itās worthy, it feels pretty flat & boring, the interactions lack depth, the actressās performance isnāt convincing .And I see absolutely zero chemistry between the two leads. Does it get better later on?
at this point I just feel sorry for the ml. Heās been suffering throughout the entire story. The fl and her brother have been really awful to him. Sometimes I could understand her reactions, but other times they were just unbearable.
Hmm, I think Iām going to drop it. Iām currently on episode 18 and honestly itās getting complicated, but the main issue with this drama is the pacing itās really bad. As for Esther, Iāve usually loved her dramas, but in this one something feels off. She acts very robotic, and you can clearly tell sheās acting thatās the problem for me. The ML is actually a very good actor and performs well, but I donāt see any chemistry between them. It feels forced. The tension and kissing scenes are especially awkward⦠sheās way too stiff, her lips look frozen, and the whole thing feels uncomfortable and cringe to watch. I donāt feel any emotion from her. Meanwhile, the male lead seems genuinely invested you can tell heās fully immersed in his role....it's sad it's a solid 5 for me.
Iām currently on episode 7 and Iām genuinely enjoying it. It really gives off that Wattpad-style series energy, but the racing theme is actually quite uncommon. And honestly, I like the second lead āDrunkā just as much as the main protagonist.

This drama is truly a 2025 gem, and even the title itself carries a meaning within the story youāll understand it as you watch. I havenāt loved a modern drama this much since "Lighter and Princess" I honestly place them on the same level. Theyāve become my ult dramas.
Thereās so much to say⦠At the moment, Iām still watching and Iām currently on episode 18.
As for the story, there isnāt really a traditional plot. We simply follow the daily lives of young adults and the gradual development of their relationships, while touching on many meaningful themes such as family, friendship, love, illness, and grief.
I really appreciated how the past relationship between Wen Yifan and Sang Yan is revealed through short flashbacks at the beginning of each episode. Itās far more effective than having a long āteenageā arc placed in the middle of episodes, which often breaks the pacing. Here, the flashbacks are thoughtfully structured and never disrupt the rhythm of the story.
The characters are genuinely lovable (except for Yifanās awful family). Sang Yan, in particular, touched me deeply heās such a human and sincere character.
At first, Wen Yifan appears cold, sad, and emotionally drained, almost lifeless. But as the episodes go by, we slowly understand why. She gradually changes: she smiles more, reacts more, gets shy, and starts breaking down her emotional walls.
Sang Yan is very tsundere he acts like he doesnāt care, yet heās always there for her. What I love most about him is that heās professionally reliable and incredibly considerate toward Yifan. He gives her exactly what she needs: a quiet, reassuring presence, never forcing himself or his feelings onto her. He treats her with so much delicacy, pays attention to every small detail, and itās truly admirable. He loves her deeply, but never excessively.
The second couple is just as compelling and has nothing to be ashamed of. Si Qiao, the female leadās friend, is such a joy to watch the kind of friend anyone could have in real life: energetic, funny, full of life, and coming from a big family. Hao An, on the other hand, is a socially awkward young man who simply longs for love. It feels like he didnāt even realize the small joys in his life until Si Qiao helped him open his eyes.
I genuinely donāt understand people who say this drama is bad or that the main couple lacks chemistry. In my opinion, those viewers probably only watched up to episodes 6ā11 and stopped there. This is a relationship that takes its time slow, subtle, and deeply realistic and thatās exactly what makes it so beautiful.
All in all, this is a 10/10 for me. And Iām convinced that once you finish it, it will stay with you youāll remember everything.
If I had to describe this drama, Iād say itās "cringe". I loved Wifty, and Iām currently watching The First Frost, which Iām absolutely loving as well, but Hidden Love just didnāt work for me I dropped it at episode 10.
Thereās so much to say⦠At the moment, Iām still watching and Iām currently on episode 18.
The atmosphere is melancholic, dramatic, and romantic at the same time. Itās a true slice of life, grounded in reality, with no exaggeration or unnecessary drama which is exactly what I love. Itās subtle, never over the top. This drama takes a much more realistic approach, far from the clichĆ©s and caricatures of overly formulaic rom-coms. This feels like real life.
