I tried really hard to like this show, but in the end, I couldn't do it. I'm just not feeling the female…
Eudrya, although I can't say that I agree with you because I love this show so far, I will say that I respect that you explain what you don't care for and aren't just making generalized criticisms. We all have different tastes. :)
FINALLY! She admits that he makes her heart flutter! And he looks like he's been sucker punched! LOL! And…
I think that's exactly why. She didn't want to misunderstand like she did in high school when he threw his shirt and she caught it. She thought he was asking HER to be his gf, and not the popular girl. She's been trying to stuff her feelings away ever since.

And then they leave us hanging - so cruel!!! But at least we have tomorrow and not a whole week! :)
This is my current drama crack. :) I don't understand how some are calling it boring. Maybe this just isn't their style of show. Yes, the plot isn't action packed, but the story is relationship driven instead. I love this sort of story <3
As far as remakes go, I can only enjoy them if I consider them a separate entity entirely. If I compare too much, I'll end up hating the remake. That being said, a lot of remakes ARE crap. And if the US gets ahold of a foreign movie or show, they will almost certainly ruin it with all the things that are turning me away from Western tv in the first place. And @purplenette is correct, they will drag Good Doctor way out beyond what it was ever meant to be.
When I used to watch Bollywood movies, they remade a lot of American movies and it wasn't bad. They put their own spin on it, and they were a lot more innocent (not to mention MUSICAL! LOL) but I loved those.
So, I do agree with the statement that it depends on what is being remade, who is doing it, and how they are doing it. It's always hit or miss.

For taking on the peanut gallery - you are braver than I! ;)
