And I get that too. I do give a lot of stuff a pass in dramaland that would be unacceptable in real life. I guess we all have certain issues that push our buttons. :)

I wouldn't say that he is calculating or devious, but I maintain my opinion that his behavior IS manipulative. He's making it sound like she OWES him for liking her. Those are the types to watch out for. They do 'nice' things for a girl and they expect her affection in return. If they don't get what they feel like they 'earned, they become bitter and turn on the girl. Since this is just a cameo, he probably won't go that far because he'll be gone, but in a real life situation it wouldn't be sweet, it would be creepy and would raise flags for me.
Ae Ra has already expressed that she doesn't like surprises, she doesn't want him knowing where her apartment is, and she doesn't want to invite him in, but although he sees her discomfort (and acknowledges it), he's still pushing.
And of course no one wants to see someone they like being close with a person of the opposite sex, but they literally had had ONE date and he barely knows her. To ask those things at that stage is inappropriate. He likes her but they aren't in a relationship.

For real! I am over here shouting "Yes! Go back for her!" And then CLIFFHANGER! And no preview for the next episode! WAH!

Idk, I think it *seems* sweet, but he's coming off as manipulative. I mean, at the end of the first date he's telling her he doesn't want her being friends with Dong Man and asking her to move? Then when she is uncomfortable, he basically says something to make himself out to be pitiful so she will continue with whatever is making her uncomfortable. Like what he just pulled in the hospital room. She wanted to leave so he pulls out the "But I got you this expensive room. I didn't even do that for my mom!" He's manipulating her under the guise of being a "nice guy". And IRL that's how actual nice girls (that don't want to hurt a guy's feelings) ignore their gut feelings and put themselves in bad situations.

I don't hate him either. KYK is killing it in this role.

Your explanation makes sense about the company too. But I *am* enjoying both their characters and am interested to see how their relationship moves.

I knew it had to be a set up. But I was almost convinced Just bc he looked fed up with Tak Su's crap in an earlier scene.

Right now I'm picturing her cutting him off, cutting off that awful hair, dressing to kill, and turning the tables on him. Maybe when other guys start noticing her, he'll wise up that she's a gem, quit taking her for granted, and finally marry her already. Geez, man! It's been 6 years! And he's still keeping their relationship a secret? Why is she putting up with this nonsense?

LOL! I love it when Ji Wook gets all jealous and then claims he doesn't like her. But seriously, Eun Hyuk is no threat to them. He wants back in Ji Wook's good graces. If anything, he's fueling the flame for Ji Wook to confess to her because of Eun Hyuk's hovering. :)

I've thought the same when I see photos of him. He has a plastic, strange look. But on film, he looks fine and very handsome. I can't quite put my finger on it, but he doesn't look natural to me a lot of times. I'm still a fan though.

But he still loves Yoo Jung. It was very obvious last night. And they compounded that by BH and EH both saying the other wasn't their type. He's not after BH. EH was always in love with YJ. It's just that YJ made a move on JW before he could confess to her. He's stayed away from her because it hurt him that he hurt JW .

Exactly! I just finished it and I feel exactly the same - it's incomplete. It HAS to have a 2nd season to finish the story.

@Ananyas- yeah, I checked it out just because of Kim Seul Gi and Kim Young Kwang, but I didn't think the story would grab me like it did.

I'm also watching it on DramaFever. It's still called Lookout on there.

This drama is brilliant. It may knock out my current #1, Goblin. I love everything about it and I'm going to be sad when it's over!

Honestly, I don't even care about her reasons. I just want the two guys to make up. Eun Hyuk is at least repentant for what he did. She is shameless and just hoping he's over it now. There is no "good" reason for either of them.
