Can someone tell me why this is rated so high? From what I have seen it looks like a normal "coming of age"…
Honestly, I can't explain it. I didn't even think I'd like this at all, and wound up adding it to my favorites. I think maybe a little of all of it, but it's no one certain thing. The characters ARE good and so is the music. But I think it's just that all the good elements combine in a good way. Sorry I can't explain it better - I think you just have to experience it. :)

I just watched the trailer the plot line is similar to the American movie Shallow Hal. BUT I'M STILL EXCITED…
Good comparison! I'd forgotten about that movie, and I enjoyed it.

If I'm watching where there are (4) 30 minute episodes uploaded, what am I supposed to put for completed episodes when MDL is basing it off (20) 10 min episodes?? How many episodes does it count for? LOL!

its actually an ad for Lotte Mall, it wasnt supposed to have a deep storyline in the first place.
Obviously I knew this considering that I wrote "It's basically a movie length CF"

The ratings keep dropping & I feel so sorry for everyone who worked hard on the drama. I mean the acting is…
I agree. The low ratings are disappointing and I feel bad for them also. I think a lot of people don't have the patience for a more contemplative drama that has a slower pace. I think it will be worth the wait because I am engrossed in how the story is unfolding.

I can see why people were disappointed by the end of this because I felt it too. I didn't pay attention to the big fuss over this when it aired because I didn't think I'd ever watch this. If I had watched as it aired, I'd probably have been hopping mad about it too. It was in your face obvious that they pushed Yoo Jung's character back in some of the later episodes - he was barely in some of them and was the main male lead! As much as I loved Seo Kang Joon's portrayal of Baek In Ho (I can't even believe I'm saying this because I HATED him in Cunning Single Lady. Hated him.), even I knew that it wasn't right that he should be so prominent and have so much time with Hong Seol. And the ending was too ambiguous and unsatisfying. Unless they are going to do a Part 2 (the upcoming movie doesn't count!) with the same actors and resolve the storylines, then this will always be a disappointment and a shame because it could have been great. The storyline was unique and intriguing. Yoo Jung was such an engrossing character. While I'm glad that he's reprising his role for the movie, I hope that it's not another disappointment as well. This role for Park Hae Jin helped me see him in a new light because I was no fan at all before I watched this. All in all, this show suffered a lot from the changes they made to the story. But Ioved it despite the flaws, but not as much as I could have had they resolved things on screen.

This is the first family drama I've watched that I didn't get bored or ff through or wish for it to be over already. This was so enjoyable! Sang Min and Yeon Tae stole the show for me. But I thought Mi Jung was awesome too - So Yoo Jin is so pretty. She had such a warm smile.

Well Kim Shin is still a goblin and Eun Tak is a human ---- she dies and he continues to live on for eternity.…
I think because his punishment is over that he will leave with her when her last life is over. At least, that is how I am going to choose to see it. :)

I didn't mind episode 5's reveal. However - and I don't know if it's bc it's a flashback…
His father is horrible- hate him! No wonder he has issues with a father like that. Watching episode 6 with him was just...grrrr....I just wanted poor Hwan Ki away from him no matter what.

Title Introverted Boss Spoiler
I didn't mind episode 5's reveal. However - and I don't know if it's bc it's a flashback - it seems as though Hwan Ki has been toned down a bit. It makes me wonder - did the writers alter his character a bit or has he changed and gotten worse since Ji Hye's suicide? I actually liked getting the back story, but wow, that was tragic! I also hope they've toned down Ro Woon for next week forward. I don't need her to be a "typical kdrama heroine" as that phrase keeps getting thrown around, but as an introvert myself, she put me on edge. I would've run as far from her as possible if this was real life. Her complete and utter lack of awareness to others was very off-putting. She can be assertive and confident without bulldozing her way through every situation. I like the story set up, so I'll cautiously continue watching to see if they've made some acceptable changes to even out the extremes.
