I miss TOP's crazy IG posts (although we got a little IG spam recently - woohoo!). His absence is the hardest because i just discovered Big Bang at the end of last summer.
But there are too many good actors at that age this year and next year. Our older guys that have done their time will have to fill in and keep us entertained until they return! :)
which one do you think should I watch? Let's Eat 1 or 2? don't think I can watch both
Oh gosh! That would be hard to pick. Gu Dae Young (Yoon Doo Joon) in both is a treat. You don't really have to watch the first to understand the 2nd, and even though I think I like the 2nd one better....maybe just watch the first. My reasoning is that if you decide later you DO like the character and want to watch the other, I think you would like the first one less if you saw the second one first. That sounds confusing! LOL. But if you are SURE you'll only watch one, then watch the 2nd one.
Choi Jung Woo is one of my favorites as is Kwon Hae Hyo. But how about Ahn Kil Kang? It seems like he's showing up everywhere these days too. Strong Woman, Weightlifting Fairy, and Queen of Mystery are the latest ones.
So many negative comments about this :o I for one was so happy to see this on Netflix! I don't get DramaFever…
It's the exclusive rights that I'm worried about. I'm all for more people having access. I just don't know why they have to limit it to one platform. The other worry is that Korean drama will start to try to conform to American interests. I don't want to see them do that. We like them how they are.
Honestly, I'm not all that excited about Netflix horning in on DramaFever and Viki. Especially if it means that they make the US viewers wait. I have subscriptions to all three platforms, and I started my k-drama addiction on NF. But I'm not crazy about the idea of them gaining "exclusive" rights since we aren't their target audience. And I'm sure the subs won't be as good as Viki (probably on par with DF). I also used to watch on Hulu before they dumped most of their content, but now that I've switched over to DF and Viki almost exclusively, I don't miss them being there. If NF wants to get in on the action, I think they should just aquire rights to air completed dramas first. (Which they did at first and then dumped pretty much all of them for a while, which leaves you to wonder why they are jumping back in.) If I thought they could do it better than the two current major platforms, that would be one thing, but I don't feel that they will and that's what worries me. I also like watching shows the day they air or next day. I'm not on board with how they plan to air them to US viewers.
I'm also confused to who or what OJO is. I'm leaning towards the theory of 'soul of the typewriter'…
How can he touch the beans? I don't know. Same reason he can touch the typewriter and paper, the cigarette and matches, and everything else he picked up or touched, I guess. I still don't think he's human, though, even if he isn't a "ghost". There are too many things that point to that, rather than him being a normal person. Obviously, it could all be a fake out by the writers, but I'm more inclined to think that they want us to think people were talking to and looking at him, when they were actually not.
I don't think Se Joo was letting in Tae Min's father because there is bad history between them. Which the father knew. It wouldn't have been suspicious at all because Se Joo doesn't speak to them anymore after he was betrayed by them.
I feel like the father would be angry about the manuscript because it's something he doesn't want anyone to know about. I just feel like he would have had a bigger (or at least surprised) reaction to finding a person hiding that he wasn't expecting to see.
I'm just explaining how I see the scenes as discussion, though, but you sound a little angry about it. I don't think my tone was "insistence" on being right.

The only one I can say for SURE saw Yoo Jin Oh was Bang Jin. If you watch carefully no one else acknowledges him or even looks at him. BTM's dad saw the manuscript that YJO was sitting on I believe. Because, surely if you saw a person hiding under a table like that you would acknowledge that you see them. He didn't react like he'd seen a person at all or speak to him. Just made a concerned face.
I'm pretty sure he's a ghost and came through with the typewriter. He said he "sent himself" - which the typewriter told the chef to send him to Han Se Joo. He possessed the dog for a little while as well. He comes and goes in HSJ's house with no one the wiser.
Obviously, it's still early yet, but so far this show has been amazing. I'm loving all of it - story, cinematography, music. I feel like it has great potential to be amazing. :)

I'm feeling what you're saying! LOL!
