I've finished through the first 2 episodes and I'm sold so far. And KYK - he's got this cute little upturn to his mouth that looks like he's got a juicy secret...it's very cute. I'm looking forward to seeing this story unfold.

It's ok to disagree, and I don't mind a little constructive criticism. ;) Different strokes and all that. I tried to keep in mind that this was pretty dated by the time I watched it. And I was still in my first year of watching, so the overdone clichés and tropes weren't overdone to me yet. I liked the style of it (I'm a sucker for contract relationships and arranged marriages in shows and movies), so I'm sure I rated it more on that point.
I do remember liking the grandfather quite a bit! I probably wouldn't re-watch this, but I'm glad that I saw it since it seemed like it had been a classic that people were nostalgic about. As with anything nostalgic, the reality usually differs somewhat from our memories of it. Thanks for the comment and for reading my reviews. :)

Good review. I agree about the back and forth being a little too much, but I still enjoyed it so much. And yes - the "freakishly awesome" kiss! LOL! :) There's a great youtube video with a montage of scenes from this show (including the kiss) set to John Legend's All of Me song. I think it fit perfectly.

I may have replayed that scene a few times.... ;)

I am enjoying the heck out of this show so far! Jae In and Da Hyun are cute as can be together.

These last 2 episodes have really dampened my love for this show. There are 6 episodes left, so I hope they fix it. Whoever she ends up with, they need to fix what they've done. It's not fair to Jung Won, and even to a degree not to Hwa Shin either. But Jung Won has gotten a raw deal lately. If she's in love with Hwa Shin, fine, but cut Jung Won loose. What's happening now is cruel.

The kisses in Another Miss Oh (Oh Hae Young Again) were some of the most passionate I have seen. Oh - and an MDL friend showed me the deleted/alternate ending kiss for Queen In Hyun's Man- that was amazing as well.

I definitely do NOT like the lip touch and freeze kisses.

See, I think the real jerk is Na Ri right now. She's obviously feeling more for Hwa Shin but won't just let Jung Won go. Hwa Shin is the one that horned in our their relationship. Not the other way around. Na Ri needs to put on her big girl panties and let Jung Won go - not keep him waiting to find out if she's going to stay or go. And she's doing it all in HIS house. Maybe she is afraid of being hurt by Hwa Shin, but she can't just string Jung Won along because she's not sure whether she can trust Hwa Shin or not. That's just not even right. I've loved this show up until this last episode, but this one has definitely brake-checked me a little.
Na RI has been on the receiving end of Jung Won't affections, but returns hers to Hwa Shin. I kind of hope that he takes a step back during the next episode as well. I want him to wake up and realize what's going on. :(

I have wondered if they were going to use this to extricate themselves from the triangle. I don't want them to give Jung Won something lame either though (because I know he's not going to be the one, sadly). The writers have done a good job so far of being unpredictable, so for now, I'll trust that they have a good plan. :)

Right - it's all drama, and it would be boring if they didn't add in things to get us riled up, but I'm also still leaning toward JW. I honestly don't have anything "against" HS--he's just not JW. LOL!

Exactly! What woman would rather a man tell her "sleep with me" instead of "marry me"? He's acted like such a spoiled brat most of the time, that I don't know why she would even want to do that! LOL! Makes no sense to me. The show has outright TOLD us that Jung Won is better, but she's still gonna end up choosing Hwa Shin I'm sure.

I agree with most. Normally, I don't mind an alpha male as long as he's not a total jerk. But Hwa Shin is like 85% jerk. The 15% nice guy is usually used to make up for whatever jerk thing he's done. For a minute I was worried that maybe they were going to pull an out of wedlock kid for Jung Won from his "wild" days in the US that he doesn't know about. Right now, I still think Na RI is nuts for not being head over heels for Jung Won, no matter how many things Hwa Shin does to try to make up for being so mean to her in the past. I'm sad for Jung Won right now too.

I was not at ALL satisfied with that ending. They didn't really wrap up ANY love line except the mayor! Really - no wedding for our main couple???! Not even a real proposal?? And no proposal from Joon Woo to Mi Rae? (And just a lip touch kiss)? And what about the teacher and Go Sang Shik's team member? Are they dating or not?? So many questions and not enough answers!! Gah! I feel ripped off!
