SO. WHAT ABOUT THAT MUSICAL DREAM SEQUENCE, THOUGH?
Yeah, that was WEIRD! LOL! But, it was still fun even if I don't know what the purpose was yet. And if we should be expecting anything else like that. It didn't really fit the tone of the show, but it didn't spool it for me either. I did worry for a moment that dad was dying when everyone was in white.
I'm loving this show up to now. GHJ may be playing a typical character, but I love the way SHE does it (I love GHJ). Also I think what I have seen story wise at this point is interesting and different. I'm digging all the triangles, I like the PSA for male breast cancer, and I'm developing a hard second lead crush on top of it all. This show is shaping up to be a fun watch if it keeps up what they've laid out so far. I'm interested in every character and angle. The tension is building, and I'm anxious to see where it leads.
You know, I don't even mind the slow pacing in this. I'm watching another drama now that has a lot of intensity, so this is perfect for me to watch along side it. I've completed thru episode 7, and am looking forward to ep. 8.
I was really hoping to like this one because of the best friends falling in love theme. Unfortunately, I really was as bored as a lot of other viewers. So I skipped to the end and watched most of the last 2 episodes.
Funny story: I am watching ep4 and my niece walks in the room (she's 16). -What are you watching? -A kdrama -Oh,…
I wish I knew the secret too! Obviously those women have taken way better care of their skin than I have. I mean, I think I look younger than my age, but not like 20 years younger. LOL! And I'm pretty lazy about the skin care.
Kind of a slow start, but Ep 3 and 4 were better than the first 2. I'll see how the story develops in the next 2 episodes before I decide whether or not to continue. I feel like the story is just ramping up though.
I really like the main leads though, and am excited for a story of a slightly older couple.
Is this drama really all that? I've watched the first episode but the main male lead just isn't grabbing me at…
Oh yes! I did finally watch it not long after posting this. Sure wish I'd known he shaved off that awful facial hair early on. LOL! He was much more handsome without it. I enjoyed him so much that I followed this one up with You're All Surrounded so I could see more of him. I've got my husband watching this one now. :)
Just finished the first episode. Haven't really formed a strong opinion yet, except to say that the 2 main leads look amazing for their ages and I do like the concept of a slightly more "mature" couple having a romance. I am hoping this gains some momentum soon and turns out really well! Maybe they will do more romances with couples over 30 or 40.
I'm still enjoying this drama, but would like to see a little more conflict/resolution going on for our main cast. I am enjoying the side stories still, but the main romance is just feeling flat. I like the characters and that they have what seems to be a mature communicative romance, but nothing is really HAPPENING as far as a story with them. We really aren't even getting as much romance as I'd like. I'm not hating on it or anything, I just wish all the action wouldn't be confined to the outskirts and move more to the main cast.
I'm only up thru episode 5, but I'm really enjoying this so far. I wasn't even sure I would like it even though I've had it on my list for a long time. I mainly wanted to watch SIG and JNR. But the first episode had me hooked. D.O's portrayal of Joon Young was pretty chilling. The show has had me anxious almost the whole time so far. Glad I finally took the plunge!
I'd watch it for SJS (and the gratuitous shirtless scene - ha!). :)
Does he really not say a word during the whole thing? Good thing he's got such expressive eyes!
Anyone besides me totally see it coming when the husband of the woman that needed surgery in ep11 was an abuser? I had a feeling even before he told 2 different stories about how she got hurt. I haven't watched ep12 yet, but I'm hoping someone catches him!
I really like the main leads though, and am excited for a story of a slightly older couple.
