The acting and plot is amazing, but the amount of medical and nursing malpractice is INSANE XD
LOL. At times like this, I just ignore all the illogical stuff and focus on Tendo-sensei.

Feel like I need to add my own two bit opinion on our Tendo sensei. He really is that good looking that I am finding…
Sato Takeru as a tsundere male lead in a rom-com is so rare, we should all appreciate the hotness that is Tendo-sensei, lol.

I don't care how pretty, talented, nice a woman is, if she turns around and tells a bloke, who she knows is dating…
And she went to tell Sakura too. Eh, the twin sister character is so unnecessary and pointless, I feel sorry for Renbutsu Misako to have to do this role. I'd rather have the old trope that Tendo is still hung up on his ex or something.

Thank you, OldAnimeLady. I hope more people would be more interested in watching this drama, reading your article. The…
Saigo Kara Nibanme no Koi was hilarious, and the dialogue was great. I loved the banter between Chiaki and Wahei.

I'm quite enjoying Ore no Hanashi wa Nagai as well, Ikuta Toma has been pretty good as Mitsuru, and Yasuda Ken does what he does best, lol.

I agree with TimiZero. Looking back on 3-Nen, episodes 1-5 were strong and suspenseful but then it just got bogged…
Most of the students' acting was pretty awful, especially the guys. I think only Nagano Mei was good, and I thought Suda Masaki was over the top. I never understood the popularity of 3-Nen, it was preachy, long and excessive, and the whole premise was rather ridiculous. SWAT should have "detonated" them within 3 episodes.

I really enjoyed Kinou nani Tabeta, it was an excellent drama from start to finish, and the acting was superb. Uchino Seiyo should have won Best Actor.

I saw the 1998 movie with Matsushima Nanako and was suitably freaked out. Some years later, I got my hands on the actual novel by Suzuki Koji and found it much freakier. I actually prefer the novel - it kind of does a psychological number on you, especially if you read it alone at night.

Skipped the rest of the Ring movies/spinoffs etc cuz I'm not really a horror fan. But I want to commend you on the excellent tracking of all the Ring movies and actors involved.

which is why I labeled them as continuing from last season with the month they started.the autumn season starts…
Oh, by all means include them. I'm always happy to see more coverage of Japanese dramas.

For taiga and asadora, you can either have a "currently airing" tag/section together with start date, or you can list them with the seasons but have a "(cont'd)" after to show that they are continuing from the previous season. For this list, Scarlet just needs to move back into the main section for Fall doramas.

Drama specials usually follow the seasons, so perhaps just a separate section listing the drama SPs will be good for now and less messy.

For layout, may I suggest just two columns: the left for the title and photo (perhaps also lead actor), the right for synopsis and broadcast info. That might make the column text easier to read.

I don't think you understand. If you say continuing from previous season, you're saying Scarlet is a summer asadora, which is not right. Asadora mark two halves of the year, spring and autumn. They do not belong to summer or winter.

Scarlet is starting on Sept 30 only because that is a Monday and asadora begin on a Monday. In 2015, Asa ga Kita also started on Sept 28 but was classified as a Fall asadora. Ditto with Massan, Carnation etc.

The taiga do not have seasons either, since they are year-long dramas.

Scarlet is in the fall/autumn drama season. The two asadora each year start in April (spring) and end September / early October (autumn), respectively, and do not belong to the summer and winter drama seasons.

Shinya Shokudo and Kodoku no Gurume are also lovely food-related dramas.
I also recommend Kinou nani Tabeta, wonderful slice of life drama with lots of food preparation.

Kuubo Ibuki was already released in Japan on May 24, 2019. There is also Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii, with Takahata Mitsuki and Yamazaki Kento, scheduled for a 2020 release.

Looking forward to watching Nagi no Oitama and Asagao.
