Deeply moving film, especially when you consider it is based on true events. The power of music is truly healing... "Korea remains the only divided nation on Earth, wishing for a world without war." I believe this film deserves a much higher score here on MDL. It is a masterpiece in my eyes.
I think it's weird how he suddenly starts talking with no problem in ep 3, like i felt like there could have been…
In the original webtoon he has a stutter throughout. I agree it would have been interesting to see that represented, or at least a more gradual transition. Nonetheless, I love his character.
Wahhh I really am enjoying this. I started reading the original webtoon and I adore that as well. The rooftop scene was so lovely, made me smile seeing them finally so carefree and joyful. So many of the characters I'm truly coming to love. Especially the two main leads. <3 Can't wait for next week.
I'm disappointed that they seem to have dropped the stutter entirely which makes the male lead yet another ML…
Same! The stutter is sort of what really peaked my interest in this drama initially. I still enjoy the story/characters, but that would have been interesting to see represented in a k drama.
-Where it’s based from doesn’t excuse it’s lazy pacing, especially if it was given context in the webtoon…
It was never about the show... I really don't know how to make that more clear to you at this point. You don't really seem to be listening to my words, so I'll end this now.

"Confirmed by anyone that knows what facts are with working eyes? You’re trying to tell others text book definition examples of lazy writing.. isn’t lazy writing.. missing context and bunched pacing... isn’t lazy writing.. we’re done here if you haven’t noticed. Not debatable "
Your overall tone feels dismissive and a bit disrespectful. The way you worded this, as if your own perception and application of a definition to a piece of public media is the ultimate, objectively right take, is what I find invalidating. There's always be room for debate in any discussion. I believe, if there was a true respect for others' viewpoints, these comments wouldn't have been made. We're at an impasse here, so I'll move along.
This was damn good. I love how they chose to use Yeon Shi Eun's past as the working material for season 1. The original manwha begins with the ending scene in this season. Do we have a confirmed season 2? It's certainly earned it in my eyes! 10/10.

I was addressing the way you're choosing to interact with others, not the contents of the show. If you're aware your own opinions are valid, perhaps you shouldn't be invalidating the opinions of others in this comment thread. A differing opinion isn't objectively wrong. I hope you can see that.

Your opinions are valid, but this show can be perceived/interpreted and, in fact, debated by many. You are currently debating with many people in this comment section. Hardly anything in life is black and white. I hope you enjoy the rest of the show.
