AHHH that ending!! 😬 Loved all the action scenes in episode 5. For someone who doesn't like exerting himself, Kyungsoo sure is doing a lot running around lol

I use KissAsian. I recommend that. But I agree, it's annoying how Vikki is the only official streaming site and it's only available in select countries.

The cremation scene was hilarious, I had to watch it a few times. 😂

I just want to point out Kyungsoo is almost 30 years old. He's very much an adult, even if he doesn't look like one. lol

Some people purposefully leave bad reviews to lower the rating. It currently has a 9.8 rating on Vikki. Most people are enjoying this show, even if it's that's not exactly reflected here on MDL.

You can't beat Kyungsoo's comedic timing. He's always been good at that quirky/ goofy kind of humor and he nails it here. Awesome first two episodes, fast paced and makes me laugh. If you're considering starting the series, give it a shot!

Interesting start, hoping for more comedic moments. Awesome acting by Kyung Soo of course, and I'm enjoying the rest of the cast as well. Fingers crossed it continues to impress!

I really couldn't disagree more with this rating... do people not have the patience for slower storytelling? So much portrayed without words in this film. I really loved the performances from the entire cast. What a bleak story... but with a somewhat uplifting ending I think. I've learned a little previously about defectors from North Korea. So many face an extended hell once they make it to China. They have to pay an insane amount just to make it over the border safely and then they are expected to work tirelessly to somehow pay off that debt. There, of course, are no good and easy ways to do it without fear of being sent back. China is no safe haven... If you're considering and you have the patience to give it a fair shot it is a good film. It tells an important story about a harsh reality.

Just finished the first episode and I'm shocked at how convincing Kin Tae Ri, a 31 year old, is at playing an 18 year old. She is so youthful still! Can already tell this series will be something special. Can't wait to enjoy the rest!
