As someone who hadn’t seen the original, I really liked this. Then I started watching the original, and maybe…
outside of the first few eps, there really aren't many kissing or sex scenes. the sex scenes included are pretty necessary to the plot and the relationship development between the characters. yes, even rio and tokyo. the original is more realistic and grittier in atmosphere. it's a personal preference, really. still, i don't think you should write off the entire original series because of potential kissing scenes. kdramas include kissing scenes as pinnacle relationship moments. do you mainly dislike sex scenes or nudity?
Can anyone convince me to watch this show 🙂, I just finished Love Scout and I wanna start this one cz it's…
i think it's just very gripping. likable characters, heroic premises, and fun, fast-paced. it's like an action/medical fusion with a heartwarming bromance. i'd recommend just checking out the pilot ep to see if you like it first! also pls keep in mind that they DO show blood and medical procedures on camera in case you're sensitive to that like i am (i just turn away lol)
the way they handled this story was so thoughtful to the families, the boys, the coach, and to the lost lives. there was no glorification or romanticization of the situation. they explored the intense emotions incredibly well, with the lows of frustrating dead ends and parental grief, to the highs of their various successes. it's quite a rollercoaster. it's fascinating to see an "inside" perspective on the rescue operation, rather than just from a real-life media standpoint. i can't even imagine how they even filmed this with the amount of water. just an all-around great reenactment (and likely accurate). although, as a drama itself, it is very slow-paced imo.
because the states have more opportunities and everyone isnt clumped in one spot. the state is 50x bigger than…
i'm still kinda confused about the relevancy? op is talking about how shocking it is that there have been so many sk deaths lately esp following a controversy due to bullying culture
the romance felt very forced to me but i am happy for dongeun regardless. actual satisfying revenge plot. pt 2…
if yeonjin was able to get away with murder for so long by covering them up, how come she couldn't just kill dongeun and cover it up too? i mean, realistically, couldn't she have used her money and power like the others?
the romance felt very forced to me but i am happy for dongeun regardless. actual satisfying revenge plot. pt 2 REALLY ramped up. thoughtfully crafted and just the right amount of dark.
Your bigotry is showing… there is no lgbtq "agenda" in this drama.I find it almost amusing how a fever dream…
no one is self aware. everyone is influenced by everything. we all have our own "thoughts" but none of our own thoughts come from ourselves. it's through subconscious external influence. you believe masks are bowing down in fear of governmental control, while others believe they are effective methods to prevent germ spread (even outside of covid aka their original use). whether this is from the community we live in or the media we consume, these are not novel ideas.
but sure sure, no point arguing as neither of us will ever change our minds. it's clear we are both too small-minded to ever be open to opposing opinions than our own. self-awareness is realizing that no one is truly self-aware.
It's just a scene, why are you talking about a topic that is not relevant in the series? The topic of people's…
sure, nothing i can do to change your mind. as long as you're not spreading hateful rhetoric against gay people, you're certainly allowed to have your qualms against netflix. still, there's little evidence of any form of media "propaganda" influencing people to turn gay. else, everyone you know would be gay.

i don't think you realize that rejecting masks, vaccines, and woke propaganda are ALSO forms of psychological manipulation and propaganda against them. reading articles or reddit threads about why vaccines are poison in your blood is quite literally propaganda against vaccines. even though you don't think so, the political media you consume (which is tailored more toward your viewpoint btw) is psychologically manipulating you into thinking these things. you think masks won't work because you've seen rhetoric online praise that theory. you believe there are only two genders because you grew up only knowing two existed and because a doctor told you so. from birth until now, all your opinions were formed through subjective propaganda and "psychological manipulation." it works both ways.
even if you do not believe me, please reflect on HOW you've come to your views and opinions. family members? political speeches? online threads? you claim everyone are "sheep" but that includes EVERYONE. if everyone truly thought for themselves, there would be no support toward individual politicians or political parties. we don't have to agree on the same points, but it is helpful to acknowledge that BOTH sides get easily manipulated by media. why do you think people believe in cults, there was no moon landing, mass shootings are faked including 9/11, vaccines are poison, the earth is flat, woke propaganda corrupts minds and changes children, etc? do you think you came up with all these theories yourself?

if pollution is the cause of chemical castration and "gayness in wildlife" or through cosmetic products and water supplies, then why are you not gay? why are more people not gay? there is a much smaller percentage of gay people than straight. if you grew up with this "gay propaganda" then why are you not gay? i grew up with it and i'm not gay. many people grew up with it and are not gay.
plus as you say, there were likely "many homosexual Greeks anyway" outside of gay sex being used for militant power. why do you say that there must've been many homosexual Greeks if gayness is unnatural and they had no access to woke gay propaganda Netflix at the time?
"gayness is found in nature" was looked for BECAUSE non-lgbtq+ people would kill gay people in the name of being unnatural and a sin. it is a counterargument against a hateful one denying their existence. how can they be "unnatural" if it is found in nature? that is why that argument exists. kindly note that throughout history, gay people were hunted purely for their sexuality and never the other way around. even today it persists. rather than question if propaganda makes people unnaturally gay, why not reflect on why that bothers you so much? and why is there disdain for a group of people who have not done anything to you besides exist?
i don't remember much about the show, but i do remember when i was watching it, i drew the massive family/relationship tree on a napkin and went on an hour long rant to my sibling. good times.
im lost who is the guy at the end thats apart of the pictures i dont remember him from earlier at all
i don't think he's a character, i think it might just be trying to set up a second season or maybe it's her discovering a man from the outside world that survived or potentially someone from her past. as far as i know, he's not a character in the show we've met before.
honestly i thought this would be a little lighthearted fun romcom, but i really love the social commentary and world building. the gender differences (like day not knowing what a urinal is) and the dark farm storyline are so interesting for only a 6ep miniseries. all of the characters are genuinely likable, even the "villains" and their relationships with each other feel believable. yes sometimes it's kinda cringe, but there's a lot of heart in this. i thoroughly enjoyed every part.

animals naturally have gay sex in the wild. if gayness is found in nature, then why can it not be found within humans too? is it that insane that out of 8 billion people you think everyone would and should only be attracted to the opposite sex? being gay is seen as natural now...because it is? gay people fought centuries for their rights but it's been present all throughout history. you only see it as "woke propaganda" now because people can finally exist as themselves. whether netflix includes it or not, does it matter?
