I wish South Korean male actors AND female actresses would embrace their true unique skin tones. It's very distracting…
This SHOW sounds VERRY interesting though .. I hope romance is woven into it with a 'serious' super smart,, strong FL .. who I hope won't have the a plasticky face ;-p
OH OH OH .. just looked up the show on MDL - DOES HAVE ROMANCE Yipee! And I LIKE the FL .. saw her as a side role in "Love All Play" - one of my FAVE dramas (rewatched also)
Yeah it's really pasty and weird. Idk why, especially when in the past Ahn Bo Hyun is usually more muscular and…
YUP. Strongly agree with you.
I LOVED Ahn Bo Hyun SO MUCH in 'My Name' ~ he fitted that role so much. Raw .. rough .. unkempt .. athletic .. tanned. I remember hoping to see him in future Dramas ..
Deeply disappointed .. For me he was an "Aigoo .. what happened to you in 'See you in my 19th Life"?
I havent watched Military Prosecutor Doberman (I only watch Dramas where romance is a significant part of a story's weave) .
But these stills of him - eeeeesh!! WHY WHY WHY.
I saw that happen to Jun Ho - I was crestfallen - in King the Land. What a shift from how his face looked .. so natural in 'Just Between Lovers' in 'Wok of Love' in 'Good Manager'
And the worst heartbreak was when I saw what my fave Bae Suzy because scrawny and had serious work done on her face :-(
I wish Asian actresses would embrace their beautiful faces and figures .. Some continue to do so .. and I love how they look.
Bai Lu .. DONT change your face ;-p Ni Ni .. you too ..

OMG You spoke my mind : I have dropped dramas because of that .. This happens SO frequently on C-Dramas earning them the label of "plastic" .. It looks SO cheap!
These actors and actresses have such naturally excellent faces .. the heavy filters are truly ugh!!
ps: i also started meteor garden again after watching only for love. loved dylan wang 😍😍
I started Unchained Love.
Ooooooo
It's HILARIOUS.. AND has some excellent cinematography and sets. Going to slow watch this - not felt the urge to binge yet. The female actress is a great comedian (as of now seems to lack the "foxy" feel.. Therefore the chemistry is not yet palpable.)
Read the comment review made by @monstersnroses just five to six comments below
While on the topic : I'll recommend a beauty of a film - A Bittersweet Life (2005) with Lee Byung Hun
then there are 2 more Korean Films (both with Hyun Bin ~ he really proves his serious cinema mettle in both):
- Late Autum (2011) - Come Rain Come Shine (2011) Both were Festival films
And some Kdrama (not as slick as this one whose page we are one ;-p) but still a little offbeat and stylishly done ~ Extracurricular ~ Coin Locker Girl
@Arbaz Akhtar the person who tipped me off on this gem of drama
The director's / Script writers brought out the real 'ammo' of 'film making' here.
It kind of doesn't belong in the Asian Drama segment - the way we kind of understand the genre as popular worldwide.
This Drama has moved it's domain into SERIOUS FILMIC DRAMA TERRAIN .. closer to HBO classics ..
I am taking it SLOW .. chewing it ..
THANK GOD it's 11 episodes .. Equivalent of 6 + 6 (season 1 & season 2) format of Netflix / HBO serials.
It's a similar story to The Smile has Left your Eyes; SO MUCH correlates, BUT .. there is NO fooling around .. The sound track, the editing, the dialogues, the raw realness of it.
We are NOT going to squee here .. OR get heart flutters .. but the story will be king .. A CLASSIC I sense.
Just finished Ep 2.
Will watch 1 Ep a day I have decided .. to let it sink in.
ALSO strangely though it's a TERRIBLE BLURRY Dramacool Print (makes me SO SO MAD that I reject those dramas - no matter HOW good the Drama is or how BADLY I want to watch it) This show I am sticking it out .. Albeit MAD and SO annoyed that I cant see a sharp print.

Plus slow watching something else..
Skinship??
The ML played Zhang Z in SOKP.. Got curious about him
Makes me feel vicarious pleasure
"Grey" is not a negative attribute amongst us bad boy and bad gal lovers.
❤️
MJTY?
this FL puts my teeth on edge though (palm on face monkey)
I discovered him in that .. and LOVED it.
He was brilliant in it.
And the Drama was so rich and layered with various complex well played characters.
However : the FL in Go Go Squid actually made me drop the show :-O
So we don't have a match on that ;-p
Kind of sounds like you plodded on .. and wasn't really swept away by it.
