SOKP works so well BECAUSE the characters aren't run of the mill .. AND being SO HOTTT helps .. Beside them being such sooooper actors

Strange ..

Is there a strong romance - hot kisses?

Oh ho this is one of the BEST posts I read here.

Melted my heart on the last day of 2023.

HNY to your mom and you and Fam.

You are such an adorable daughter for sure.

Do you think she will like LLTG?
That's my current rewatch run.

Yay!!
Please rise in the New Year

Believe it or not - my jaws dropped when I looked up ZLH bio and saw his real age - 😵‍💫😶😯😮

Wow - comments are flying thick and heavy..
Been off MDL for a while and I see the buildup of convos around many themes.. Tops being about ML being toxic or not.

😝😝

Any way it was 30th Dec 🎊🎊🥂🥂🎊🎊💖💖
Happy birthday to Zhang Ling He turning 26 🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁
Looking forward to more work from him.

Correct..Even in our part of the world elders when angry rant and rave at young ones with choice cusses - "will skin you" is common 😂🤣😂
No need to get all worked up.. It's just a phrase.. No one has been reported skinned till date 🤣

Thanks a lot.
Nice explanation.

you know what I AM SO feeling that ;-D

Happy to have finally settled on a drama that I can slow chew my way through ..
LOVING the 'maturity' of the cast - director - scriptwriter - set designer - camera person

it's riveting!!

Ah that rare smell of a well-woven story with nuance and complexity and several layers of dynamics moving the characters along ..

the realistic lighting with torches and flickering lights .. the low key sets as one would expect in a magistrate's home .. the various concubines and their conniving .. nothing loud or excessively dramatic ..

It's as slice of life a feel as it can get for a period drama ..

Finishes Ep 2

Going back.

Thank you :-)

It's OK .. my laptop was stringy .. Rebooted.
Watched it on Dramacool ..

;-p Dropped it though (didnt work for me)

;-D
