Agree .. TOTALLY different themes and approaches BUT EQUALLY powerful story telling and acting and character portrayal .. excellent direction and script and OST

I love the show from the moment it opened up .. on a sunlit vista and dark words of betrayal and hell . I knew it would be one heck of a ride!

It's interesting how the lens through which each of us are viewing the same film is so radically different.

LOL ... He is a BRILLIANT actor and one to watch out for in the future .. He is just 23

The show hooked me at 'Hello'

And to add to that ; I honestly prefer a romance that is framed within a meatier story. Eg.

- Flower of Evil
- Cruel City
- Dr Romantic (all 3 seasons)
- Hospital Playlist (all seasons)
- Fireworks of my Heart
- Lighter and Princess

I hope I did not upset anyone .. It was a sincere effort on my part to express why I found LIGHTER and PRINCESS to be ONE of the BEST DRAMA I have seen in my entire 200 PLUS Drama watching History.
And it's perfectly OKAY to agree to disagree and shake hands over it.
Lemme profess here - in return I am giving many of you a sticking point for a beef with my following opinion ;-D

I was shocked to see it has a mass adoration crowd running into 200,000 on Viki alone .. I LOVED the role assayed by Li Xian as The Gun .. but that FL and her portrayal and the drama's story left me dying with CRINGE and disbelief ..
BUT I can get WHY it probably holds a mass appeal and squee factor!!
Just not my cuppa .. and I'll agree to disagree with those for whom it is what L&P is for me.
It's the beauty of Asian Drama Verse IMO.

I HAVE never been so deep into a rewatch loop with ANY DRAMA in the 3 years of Drama Life and some 200 plus shows watched.
