Suggestion : watch just the first few eps.
If it doesn't grab you.. It's prolly anyway not worth spending hours on it.
Most of us fell for the drama within the first 10 min and didn't stop.
I watched thrice.
And can again.

It's the sort of crying you do that makes you feel good.. Even as your heart is breaking!!!

Its crying that is like an itch!!!
You go back again and again just because the story and the acting is so so so good, the characters unforgettable.

Yes SHOCKING that such a drama got only 6.8 during its early days.

There was so much to enjoy in this almost slice of life school romance

It's at least reached a 7.3 now.

I gave it an 8.5

Loved it.
Low key.
Focused on OTP.
Loads of dialogues and situations to show their various facets and the slow growth of affection.
The casualness was not forced..the getting together was a slice of life bit.

The SECOND ML for a change gives you heartache...you want to reach in and hug him.

One of the best SML out there - won't forget.
Will wait to see him do an ML soon.

LLTG SML was superb. And now he's in as ML in a few dramas.

Same with Kim Woo Bin - the most heart break SML ever.. In THE HEIRS

And a few others.

He is SO GOOD in TRUE COLOUR (as SML - I so shipped his droll character .. restrained and yet witty and full of depth - AND of course DELISH to look at)

It was FAR MORE delightful to watch their younger versions in school played by the sprightly Landy Li and Luo Yun Xi

You wished they'd played it as adults too LOL

Wait don't get me wrong I totally dug their acting .. and like you not so much their roles ..

I LOVE LOVE LOVE angsty romances with aches and hurts and pendulum swings of emotion .. BUT here making Tiffany's role a passive ALMOST DOORMAT .. just took the fun away.

I understand that she she went through HELL but still cant imagine someone's core character becoming so DAFT and "come screw me" sort.

Anyway inspite of all this I still watched and enjoyed it LOL
Way more than I have many other recent ridiculous dramas which have garnered raves ..

P.S. what actually left an awful after taste was the SILLY playacting by the OTP as 'school kids' EEYWOOOO!!!! SO SO SO SOSO SO CHEEESY!!!

Especially given how well the REAL younger versions enacted their characters ..
