To be fair, China isn't a communist country either.. the CCP (Communist Party of China) is socialist with an end goal of communism, that's why they have characteristics of communism but also of capitalism. As what I have been taught in higher education here in Europe, communism is not bad.. it's anti-capitalism but not anti-democracy thus has a big focus on achieving a classless society (no ultra rich, no ultra poor people) as well as equal distribution of resources. Censorship is terrible, but is not a part of the communist ideology, nor is dictatorship.

Also, I would argue that the U.S has implemented censorship more and more recently. For example by giving criminal charges to people who protest (peacefully) against a certain on-going genocide.

Title Dear Hyeri Spoiler
I am confused. 1. She has to know that she has a disorder due to the fact she has two places along with her look.…
1. It's an actual disorder in real life, I'm sure several of those who suffer from it has had a similar experience of where you have no idea of it. She may be confused at times, not knowing how certain things happened, but to connect it to a disorder like that is not exactly the first thing you think of.
2. She is an announcer at PPS broadcasting station but works as a parking officer at Media N Seoul broadcasting station.
3. They work at different stations, even she didn't recognize him once Eun Ho saw the name (she had to look him up and then ask for info on him through a collegue). And he is probably more popular than her, as she is a "nobody" even after 14 years in the field, so it makes sense as to why he doesn't recognize her.
4. We don't know when this disorder developed, most likely it happened after the break-up?

Title No Gain, No Love Spoiler
I love that he's a saint with everyone but her, it's a fun reversal of the usual he's a son of a bitch with everyone…
Yess! So many reversed tropes in this one,
like the wedding fitting scene.. where usually it's the man being "wow'ed" by seeing the woman in the gown, but here it was the woman being "wow'ed" when seeing the man in tux

I'm really enjoying this so far! I saw a lot of people on twitter being skeptical of "The great Shin Minah" having a "mediocre" ML partner, but I absolutely love Kim Youngdae. Their Tiki-Taka is hilarious, and I look forward to them getting to know each other while also learning about themselves.

He is, such a great actor with a vast range but sadly his career went awry due to that stupid non scandal a few…
I hope he actually gets back on track, as you say that "scandal" was so dumb.. and his acting is way too good for family weekenders. I thought he finally would get more roles after Kokdu, but I guess that one didn't do well.... although from what I've seen, that's on the script.. not at all because of his acting.

I'm taking my time watching this one, but I'm enjoying every minute of it so far. I can already tell, only 8 episodes in, that this will be my no. 1 comfort drama. Everything from the setting, the directing, to the story is so so cozy (minus the first episode, that one was very emotional)

They are not very subtle with those birth secrets... we're only on episode 1 and we already know who the real mother is lol.

Anyways, I'm excited to see where this is going.... so far I just feel like I'm going down memory lane with all these actors from YLAG appearing in this show. Same writer as YLAG and we already see some parallel scenes with that drama. Hopefully the bad parts of that drama won't appear in this one! I'm holding out hope.....

WHAT
It's for sure fishy. I don't think someone would attempt to commit suicide due to the plagiarizing if they didn't feel wronged... It will be difficult for me to support this writer's projects going forward.

And apparently there were plagiarism claims for two of her other works too, "Legend of the Blue Sea" and "My Love from the Star". I don't know how to feel about this... the first one was apparently cleared of plagiarism. My Love from the Star wasn't taken to court I believe? She just denied it. And obviously the claim against Crash Landing was overlooked until now. But what is it that they say, third time's a charm? It hasn't been the same person coming up with these allegations either.

Title Live Your Own Life Spoiler
Ok, I'm SO mad. LOOOONG rant below.
I hate the writer for creating this Taehsim drama, and especially this late with only 2 episodes left???
I wasn't very annoyed with Hyo Sim in episode 48 but how she acted in episode 49........ WHY? But first, strangely enough what annoyed me the most was Tae Ho.

So, I know Tae Ho apologized really fast, but his actions after the apology doesn't really show it. I'm really annoyed with Tae Ho? He can't understand why Hyo Sim is postponing the wedding because of family business?? Mind you, TH also kept HS in the dark about his family business for some episodes. Sure, they weren't THAT serious in their relationship that they were about to marry, but he also wanted to figure out his family situation before getting more serious. He literally asked HS if she would wait for him. It is rational for HS to want to postpone the wedding in this case. She is debating whether to donate her liver or not (UGH unfortunately), if she does... it's not like she can walk down the aisle just after that, as Ruby said.. it takes about 3 months for a full recovery. TH's reaction to HS telling him that she found her father who's been absent since she was NINE years old, for most of her life, was basically: "ok cool, then I can ask for his permission to marry you"????? Why is that the first thing he says? Also, why does he assume he is still a father figure to her?? And then he goes on to blame HS for not being able to break away from her family? HELLO??

We've been dealing with this topic of living independently for 50 episodes now, it is NOT to always cut your ties with your family whenever a problem arises, but it's to deal with them appropriately without it affecting your own life and future for the worse. With Ggeut Sun, it is a completely fair reaction to cut ties with her family that has done NOTHING for her, only received and deceived. Instead she has found a family through her neighbors. We see in ep. 49 that after she threw out her trash family, and threw out all the literal trash out of her home, she now is living her own life, BUT with much love and care for her new found family.
For Hyo Sim, it would also be understandable to cut ties with her father after he's been absent without any contact at all for 25 years, and the way he left was also very cowardly. He hasn't been a part of her life for the majority of her life. But the issues she's dealing with isn't solved by just cutting ties with him. She needs to deal with her own emotions, her mother's emotions, as that is something people do in a healthy familiar relationship. Postponing the wedding until the matter with her "father" has been dealt with is completely fair. IF it were to take months, then I could understand his concern more, but god.... she literally just found out the day before he said all of this?

And about his apology... so he apologized and it WAS a good apology. But then right after he says he wants to be transferred to work in ENGLAND?? That is NOT showing he is understanding of their situation. I get that some time away from her family could do HS good, but this is literally going against the idea of living her own life. She had a plan, she wanted to study sports marketing. She could do that in England like Tae Ho says, realistically her English isn't good enough for it but it's a drama so she might be a very quick learner lol. But he is literally taking away her choice if he is deciding this FOR her. And then we enter the vicious circle of her putting her life on hold/changing the intended plan to cater for someone else again.

But then HS has also made some VERY bad decision in the last episode. I'm glad that she told TH what was going on already in the beginning of the episode. But then she has been very distant while he has tried to reach out and be of support and comfort, and perhaps even to understand the situation more. But also..... WHY is she donating her liver? Her explanation doesn't cut it, just like Hyo Seong said (but then again, he was also planning to do it even if HS wasn't). If it truly is because of the explanation she stated then it's so dumb. If she wants to save him because she still cares about him even just a LITTLE bit, and she can't watch him die when she could prevent it? Completely valid. Her biggest mistake, what truly angers me the most, is that she didn't let TH know of this very important decision beforehand. Being distant? I get that, TH was the same before when he had family stuff to deal with. But not telling him she would do the surgery, and then according to the preivew LEAVING without a word??? Why would she do that??
UGH this annoys me to no end, what could've been one of the best couples in any weekender just soured for me real bad.

Also uh, that scene with Ggeut Sun, Ga On and the rest eating after cleaning up and then all the colorful plastic bag flew away....... maybe I'm being too environmentally cautious, but that ruined the symbolism for me lol
