Ok, so I say this as someone who only watches romance dramas... I'm not disappointed watching this. Although the…
Thank you for explaining it more in detail! I do love a slowburn (hell i even watched the U.S show 'Bones' only for the romance lol), so I might still give this a go. I like pets too, so maybe the overall story won't bore me.
Again, Nam Soon isn't "season 2" but it's own story. Also, wasn't there a heavy focus on a serial killer storyline…
Yeah I'm not saying you can't like it of course. Just pointing out that if you decide to compare Bong Soon with Nam Soon in this way, it's best not to sugarcoat the dark side of BS. Of what we've seen so far (after only 4 episodes), that one was much darker. Not only was there a crazy serial killer torturing women, but there was also death threats to the ML. Both of these were the main plot. Just as the drugs storyline is the main plot in NS. For me personally, a serial killer going after women is darker than "just" drugs.
I also noticed that HS was remarkably absent from the entire episode. Tae Min did call her to make sure she was…
Right, I don't care about his reasons for leaving his 4 children for YEARS. Although I'm not a big fan of the mother, I empathize with how difficult it must've been for her to raise 4 children by herself. There is no forgiving the "father" in my eyes.
Yep. No one even knew she was sick until the mother called HS phone to complain about the grandma upstairs.
Yesss, they will be able to have a significant other to trust and depend on for once. Just thinking about it got me close to tears, pls... I love a slowburn though, so I will savor this journey. But the payout better live up to our expectations or else I will fight lol

I feel so bad for her, it makes me anticipate her romance even more because at least someone will CARE about her, the bare minimum but the standards are low.
yeah it felt like a filler episode to flesh out the characters more. A typical saturday episode we unfortunately…
Definitely, we got a lot of nice crumbs in ep 6! The precap for ep 8 seems way better, but still no scene shown with HS and TH directly in it D: I like your idea of airing an extra episode to even it out... but at least this way of airing it leaves a lot to be desired for the week ahead lol
Wait, we didn't get a single scene between HS and TH in episode 7??? and barely anything with HS at all..... no one cared for her while she was sick either omg i want to punch everyone. It was an episode about the mother, a bit of back story but I still don't really like her.
Quick thoughts after this weekend's episodes: I absolutely love that NS was reunited with her family this quick. This drama is SO over-the-top in the best way possible. This comedy might not be for everyone, but it sure as hell is for me lol. Byeon Woo Seok is doing a fantastic job as the handsome villain so far, I'm intrigued to learn more about Shi Oh. Also, the way NS already got Hee Shik so wrapped around her finger is the cutest shit.
I don’t know how to feel about this. I’m really loving it so far but the fact that the drugs is giving people…

This isn't a "season 2" it's just a spin-off. Of course the romance or family dynamic can't be the same as in…
This new version is definitely even more dramatic than Bong Soon, everything from the scale of the family (in terms of money) to the super power/strength. But again, I personally don't mind it, I just see Nam Soon as another perspective in the same "universe" as Bong Soon. As the upper-class family.
sorry for saying but Season 1 is best for me because in Season we see Bong Soon struggle in one side love and…
This isn't a "season 2" it's just a spin-off. Of course the romance or family dynamic can't be the same as in the original, because then it would just be copying it. It's completely okay to not like this show though, it's very different from Bong Soons story (which I personally like) so I can understand why some would like one but not the other.
I was reluctant to start this drama because frankly, the plot is ridiculous. But after watching the first two episodes, I'm reminded yet again that I love a fluffy (lol literal in this sense) rom-com. Since this only has 14 episodes, I really hope we won't have any filler episodes or even filler scenes.
Do you know why we only get 1 episode now? I know it's Chuseok this weekend, but what about last?
Ohh, yeah damn I want to get to the good stuff lol, waiting a few weeks extra when this show spans for months shouldn't be this hard.... but here I am, still complaining lol.
