If this drama has 1000 fans, I'm one of them. If it has 1 fan, I'm one of them. If it has no fans, I'm dead.... I will defend this drama with my life :( Are there unreasonable characters? YES. Is it emotional? YEES. Will you feel secondary male lead syndrome? perhaps a little..... Yet it somehow still is a very beautifully sad story, with a happy ending.
For me, I love "Live Your Own Life". It started off a bit slow, and sure it has a lot of annoying characters (but…
Yesss, honestly TRHC was such a shit show, and YLAG closely behind. What made me really love YLAG though was the relationship between the FL and the children that tugged on my heartstrings way too much.. I don't think I've cried that much since I watched it lol. LYOL definitely has the healthiest relationship between the leads that I've seen in any family drama, and perhaps top 3 of all kdramas. I will give this one a fair try (mostly because i will miss watching a weekender after LYOL has finished), but I have my expectations lowered lol
Oh Ji Hyun Woo! Have only seen him in the super romantic drama "Queen In Hyun's Man" (I warmly recommend it btw,…
For me, I love "Live Your Own Life". It started off a bit slow, and sure it has a lot of annoying characters (but that isn't uncommon in long family dramas). But it definitely didn't go downhill, it got way better after the 25-30 ep mark
It's six episodes since we get a bonus episode :) From the side characters i like Kkeut Soon most now because…
I can totally understand that view on it! Honestly I was questioning whether the gym member grandpa would be her new love interest, or the grandpa to the girl who's with her grandson lol. It would make more sense if it was her love interest though, with how much interest she's showing him.
Ahhh, a perfect epilogue is what I'm craving for so many shows! I've been skipping THee's scenes a lot until the past few episodes since they had more vital information. Like... she kept silent about a murder, and not just any murder, but the murder of her aunt and uncle! I shouldn't have been surprised with how she literally kept silent about her grandma being imprisoned (and then ALIVE when thought dead), while her brother was upset about it.
But did THee even do a DNA test to make sure she's not related to TM, her mom, and her mom's husband? LOL because…
I don't believe she did, which is strange because isn't her dad infertile or something? But yeah omg don't even get me started on how annoyed I will be with their rushed "happy" ending lol

Ooooh we get a bonus episode?? Nice! So it evens out then, with 2 episodes the remaining weeks. Honestly, although I like Ggeut Sun for being a great supportive character for our FL, and always speaking truth to Seon Sun, I just don't care about her own arch anymore. I was really intrigued very early on when she talked to her son on the phone and it was very clear he was lying about something. But then that intrigue just disappeared for 20-30 episodes (if not more). JB definitely needs to get what he deserves, it's not as bad as the gremlin or Yeom, but he deserves to serve his punishment just as much. Unfortunately, nothing bad will happen to THee so she will surely continue to annoy me for the remainder of the show.....
The most shocking part of this week's episodes is that THee isn't Yeom's daughter, I honestly did not see that one coming. Seeing the preview for next week, I really don't care for Ggeut Sun's grandson storyline lol. I just want Sook Hyang and Yeom behind bars, and HS and TH married already lol but a lot can still happen in 5 episodes
I'm in the vast minority of people who actually enjoyed Young Lady and Gentleman (same script writer as this drama), so I definitely look forward to this one. I hope the writer improves on the bad parts of that drama though (pls no amnesia plots omg). I think that drama had a big advantage with the child actors who did a really good job and made the show so emotional for me. This one doesn't seem to have that going for it, so even though I'll look forward to watching it, I will lower my expectations..
Why did I start this omg.... one episode in and the ML is straight up assaulting her, sigh. I should just drop it, but I rarely drop shows this early on and it's a short one at that.
It isn’t too medical focused. There is one pretty graphic scene medical scene but I believe it’s just in the…
Thank you! I will give it a try. Seeing that "depression" is the first tag, I suspect it will hit me in the feels. But at least that is something I can handle <3
Is this show very heavy on the medical aspect? I generally steer clear of medical dramas because I have (mild) hypochondria/health anxiety. E.g. reading symptoms of diseases can make me overanalyze my own body and trick me into thinking I have those symptoms. But if it's not too much on the medical side of things I could skip those scenes and just watch it for the romance.
I think i'm confused with the parents generation, so the dad sleeps with his brother's wife by the instruction…
No, Tae Min share the same mother AND father as Tae Ho... the grandma just snagged the baby from them and gave it to Jin Beom and evil Sook Hyang lol. How they were so okay with their son being taken away and being raised by other people, I have no clue.... If my child was snagged and given to my sibling I would not sit back quietly for so many years!
HD and TH "romance" ... LOL ...exactly, agree with you. There's nothing there , no intimate moments, no love endearing…
For sure! All I hear is words of them apparently caring for each other now? I mean at least with THee, she has shown some care for HD... but nothing near of "love". I feel like it was only 5 episodes ago or so that HD cared more about money than anything else. Hard to believe this 'change of heart' when we haven't seen it....
Yes, Ru~Bi made me tear up today too!In the previews when Hyo~Shim’s mother said to hold off or delay her wedding,…
Thank you <3
I agree, TH would definitely help if he knew the extent to what Hyo Seong went through. As angelwg said, it is Hyo Seongs wife that goes to the café in the next episode to tell HS' mom about who Tae Ho 'really is'... which is frustrating that she is being annoying again. But similar to with HS's mom, at least this time I can understand their side of things.

Same! It was so frustrating, and I hate that it doesn't make me look forward to next week's episodes. At the same time though, the reasoning for her antics this time is at least understandable. Tae Ho is a member of the Taesan family, yet he "let" Hyo Seong struggle with part time jobs and get beat up by people from the Taesan company. As a mother to someone who went through that, I can understand being reluctant... especially with the reputation chaebol families have.
Right now I'm unfortunately expecting the wedding to happen the last episode and not earlier..... I don't mind that, but the frustrating part is that we're going back to Hyo Sim's mom and sister-in-law being annoying again.
Ep 43 made me bawl my eyes out, and I can't believe it was because of Ruby. It's something about seeing a kid who's usually cold towards a parent showing their appreciation. It hits close to home as it's not too different from my own situation, except that I wasn't vocally as bad as Ruby was... I just wasn't very loving.
Anyways, I really don't care for Hyo Do and Tae Hee's "romance", it was straight up lies when he told Hyo Sim that he married her because he loved her lmao. Perhaps he cared for her a little bit, but we all know he married her for the money. I can't say I look forward to ep 44 with how Hyo Sims mom will be against Tae Hoo again. At least this time she has a reason to, but as a viewer I'm just tired of the back and forth.
I think there are many more reveals to come and if I was a gambler, I would bet that they are half brothers. But…
My first thought was also that they must be half brothers, but as you said... who would be TM's parents? They probably share mother at least since they've mentioned he was close with his aunt. But that means THs mother first was pregnant with TM (years earlier since he's older) together with TMs father I assume.... unless his father is just not in the picture at all anymore? But if it is with TM's father, it would make sense why he wouldn't like TH's father, but wouldn't he feel remorse over "killing" TH's mother? It's all very confusing right now, but I have high hopes in the writers pulling off a good explanation.
Grandmother sending off Tae Ho to the states was also sus. I can't quite tell if it was to protect TH, or to protect the secret. But seeing how she loves him so much, it probably is the former. So so many questions right now, I can't wait to see how it pans out.
