He did not need any dialogue; we can sense and feel his hurt and wistfulness.. And every time I see that I feel a pinch in my heart.. So so beautifully emoted..
Most of the points have been covered by you all.. I just want to add this one:- When they zoom into CG's big beautiful eyes and in the eyes' reflection you can glimpse a battle scene and the expression on her face is one of hurt, grief, despair, anger.. I found this part poignant and beautiful..

YY is super popular and YAMG is a popular novel as well (I have read it; its decent) and of-course DD is the quintessential hot beautiful sweet actress who fits the role of Qiao Jing Jing to the hilt.. So I am sure YAMG will be hit.. It already has enough ammo of star power.. (DD looks absolutely gorgeous!)
However when I saw the trailer of Our Times I was super intrigued.. It has this x-factor.. Plus the pulse of the music, the pace of the scenes in the trailer got me all excited.. Its something exciting, something unique.. And Lei Lei's choice of this drama has impressed me quite a bit.. (Lei Lei looks every bit the part.. Swoon worthy!)
And the best part.. Both are different genre's.. So hopefully maybe there wont be a comparison but rather appreciation of the good qualities of both dramas? I mean if both live up to their promise then the viewers/audience wins right?!
So I for one will watch both the dramas.. Looking forward to them actually..

Same.. I cant go past 1-2 episodes of another drama.. Keep coming back to TLB.. I am now looking forward to YAMG(DD) and Our times(WL) in the hopes that seeing Changge and AS (albeit in different settings) will help..
This episode gets to me again and even though I know what to expect, I still end up sobbing the entire episode.…
Yes I read about this too; that in the Manhua he was never killed off.. I think the makers wanted to push CG to complete despair and then show the arc of how AS again ignites the will to live in her.. I love the dialogue he says (Live, even if it is to take revenge on me later). It just shows the amazing man that AS is. He knows her well enough by now to say the words to revive her will to live and he is broad-minded and large hearted enough to give her an open invitation to harm him in the future. It is a gamble he took for his love and oh how he won! Another thing - A'Dou and the Hengs' death also makes CG aware of the importance of AS in her life - she was in deep despair and pain when he was shot and it was looking tough for him to survive. And before that despite AS being her 'enemy' she made sure to save him from She'er's schemes. She also got close to the people of the Eagle division and made sure that no harm falls on them because of her mistake and lured the Wolf division away.. So in a way; even though the deaths of the Hengs and A'Dou is awful; it contributed a lot in CG's growth and her future..

Yeah I can understand why we need to protect our sweet sweet Reba.. And yes the kind of concern and attention Leo gives Reba is so apparent and the sweetest thing ever! And the glow on Reba's face! I have been a fan of DD since 2 years and have been following her works and online discussions and she is very professional and always keeps a distance; but with our dear Leo she is like a blooming flower! I am going to silently guard LeiDi and keep supporting them! And I am so glad I got to meet so many like-minded people on this forum! I also want to add that Reba has done absolutely nothing to deserve the unwarranted hate and bias she gets. She is professional, nice, kind and courteous to everyone, she has no scandals to speak of till date and is always praised by the directors and producers she works with. So the people who hate her because they want to blindly support their own stars - please do some self-reflection.. You can like and support your fav star but please ask yourself why should it be at the cost of Reba??
Hey! thanks for updating me.. It sickens me the kind of double standards people have when it comes to LeiDi.. The second lead couple in this drama has an 8 year age gap as well but nobody complains about that.. coz patriarchy and hypocrisy.. Plus I feel so bad for Reba, such a beautiful nice actress and always gets so much hate.. I think its more out of jealousy by other actresses who might be hiring water armies to defame Reba.. Thanks for letting me know.. I will be careful in the future..
