I dropped this one only a couple of eps in. This review reinforces that decision. 😂👀 I need to find dramas I love with the two leads though, I didn't have a problem with their acting but the story just didn't cry out to me the way other dramas have. Or maybe I just tried it too soon after watching Prisoner of Beauty.

He deserves a lead role :c

Hey! I was you a few months ago, totally floored by how awesome this drama was. If you need some recovery shows, a few recommendations I have are: The Story of Kunning Palace (for more Bailu + yandere male lead), Moonlight Mystique (again, Bailu! And gorgeous xianxia show), Filter (for laughs!), The Starry Love (again, for laughs but also for more xianxia!), The Prisoner of Beauty, and (save this one for last because it's too good) A Dream Within a Dream :D

The choose one? I haven't seen One and Only but I know TTEOTM had that

lol With only 12 eps, this drama should have ramped up the pacing. But my point is that it's hard for me to enjoy this after seeing something much better.

I like the chemistry between the leads, but I can't help comparing this to ADWAD, and this falls short...

Agree with this. I also came here after ADWAD and... I'd love to see Kdramas give more transmigration stories a shot, but this one just isn't reeling me in. It's funny because if anything, with Kdramas being shorter, the pacing should have been faster than ADWAD. But it's pretty boring and as you said, lower quality...
