lol With only 12 eps, this drama should have ramped up the pacing. But my point is that it's hard for me to enjoy this after seeing something much better.

Agree with this. I also came here after ADWAD and... I'd love to see Kdramas give more transmigration stories a shot, but this one just isn't reeling me in. It's funny because if anything, with Kdramas being shorter, the pacing should have been faster than ADWAD. But it's pretty boring and as you said, lower quality...

The comedy REALLY helped pull me through the misunderstanding nonsense. It was annoying, but the payoff was worth it for me.

Oh no!! I'm sad to hear people can't distinguish between the character and the actress. I thought SYM was hilarious, though I do wish she hadn't hurt Nan Heng quite as much as she did, to start. If people are that bothered, why can't they just press stop and go watch something else?

That's funny, I actually thought of TTEOTM too lmao I think that was part of why I liked Nan Heng so much, though that was probably the writers' intention. Even the "Choose which wife you save!" scene was in there. Idk if that's common in other dramas, I've only seen it in TTEOTM

Totally valid! Though she was pissing me off, I truly enjoyed all the other characters and was rooting for Nan Heng enough that I held on. For me it was worth it, but I can also see why someone would drop because of FL 😅

It definitely takes a while, but she does get there. To me, her character is very funny but just generally annoying even after she accepts NH. I think it was around ep 28 that she starts to turn around, but she's still pretty annoying and hurts NH because she's afraid of the script plot coming true 😥
