Yeah, his stupidity bothered me. I think his eye sort of indicated head/brain injury early in life, so it may have been intentional writing. Still so frustrating.

I'm just gonna say it. This couple has one of the sweetest relationships I've seen in a historical drama. Yeah, they have a rough start, enemies and whatnot but I have never "AWWWW"ed or rooted so hard for a couple on-screen 😭
