I'm just gonna say it. This couple has one of the sweetest relationships I've seen in a historical drama. Yeah, they have a rough start, enemies and whatnot but I have never "AWWWW"ed or rooted so hard for a couple on-screen 😭

Yeah, a "birthmark" 😂

I could tell from Liang's goodbye to go get Man Man's father and the Yanzhou orchid, after watching the moon with his friends the night before, we're going to lose him soon. I just finished ep 33 and looked up whether he and Xiao Tao get their happy ending. It's not fair 😭😭😭😭😭

I'M SO EXCITED TO WATCH THIS BUT I'M COMMITTED TO FINISHING POB FIRST ☆(≧▽≦)☆

HIS FINGER THOUGH... and then the drinking before horseback riding... not advisable!!!

I guess it's for later Bianzhou plot purposes but I wanted him and the leads to live happily ever after with grandma Wei and momma Wei 😂😂 Guess that would not have been feasible because of his feelings for Man Man tho...

wow that opening song and art 😍😍😍

Yan's dramatic departure 😭😭 WHY

Enjoy!!

oh wow, those are some key differences! I think I will check this one out but that's all good to know going in lol

Thanks!

Has anyone here watched The Prisoner of Beauty? Is this show similar in feel and quality? I mean enemies get married, mind games at the start, politics, etc...

LMAOOOOO Wei Shao's jealousy over the poet in ep 21 🤣

Ok, thank you for this explanation! lol I was so confused because I could have sworn they said she was born with it, and this explains a lot. What a schemer!!!

Yeah, even some dramas I think of as (somewhat objectively) 10 stars only manage low to mid 8s on here lmao But this drama is for sure one I'll end up rating 9-10 stars, I think! Yes, love the OST!

Was E Huang not born with the peony mark? lmao Why was her servant shocked when she wiped it off while they were on the run? Someone help me understand about this peony mark. I thought it was basically like a trendy temporary tattoo for women back then? What does it have to do with the supposed blessing or curse on her?

Got about halfway through, but I just couldn't. I didn't like any of the characters and had a hard time understanding how they got together in the first place. Hate to DNF because I like Jung Somin...

Uhhh wow. This is really good. That ending song is 💯 too, wow. I need it on Spotify T_T

Yes

it's so goooooood!!!!!
