yeah, that would make the most sense. Now that I think about it, how else could they have depicted ZYZ and ZYC being tested in the illusion, I guess. Hiring other actors for those roles would just make it more confusing. I haven't seen TTEOTM yet but it's on my watchlist! Thanks for the heads up

Sadly, it's bittersweet... not really happy ending
it was understandable given without the twin flower/tree, the Empyreans would have had to keep sacrificing themselves to fix the seal. so it made sense, but it wasn't a happy ending like LBFAD, for example...
