1. Datawin no 1 broke 2.032 (a tiny higher than TTOETM on 2nd day 2.023). Lyx 50% 2. Drama V Linkage no 1, Lyx character broke 9 3. Maoyan no 1 9802.23 4. Platform sent battle report already 5. Yunhe oh well, since it is owned by Qiyi (who currently running their own drama) it actually gave the worst co efficient given to any drama in the last 5 years… 6. Broke many records for both Mango and Migu
This is all achieved is so little promotion compared to other big production drama. Sooo looks like after selling to almost 2 dozens platform overseas, has a lot of ads in the drama both Mango and Migu are already satisfied and together with various producers here just laying flat.
Withdrawing all their marketing expenses.
Imagine if this drama gets the proper promotion like just a regular S+ drama (WoF is S++)
The opening scenes of WoF were shot in winter, high up on a windy hill in Hengdian. It was below freezing and filmed for nine straight hours. Lyx stood on a rooftop in thin clothing, with two massive industrial fans blasting him from both sides. The director even asked him to breathe as little as possible so his breath steal wouldn’t show on camera. I watched him that night, shivering over and over again.
A proxy photographer who’s been on countless drama sets said he rarely feels bad for actors—he’s seen it all. But that night, he was freezing to death in a thick down jacket, he genuinely felt sorry for LYX. And yet, next day, Lyx showed up to work like nothing had happened. He was stunned. “I’ve never seen anyone that tough,”
I think it is more a fantasy based story with wuxia elements. I hope this includes the romance as well, but I…
The drama follows a portion of the novel let's remember when IP was bought it was unfinished abandoned by the authors and only being pick up after the huge hype of the drama. The script is done at least a year before author decided to continue the novel.
I am 100 percent sure that Chi Yun will die , cause I saw it in a trailer , now does it has a bad ending , I tried…
When producer bought the novel IP, novel was unfinished abandoned by Teng Ping for many years. After the drama huge hype, she started to continue the novel. WoF finished filming at least 6 months earlier than when she finished the novel. WoH took portions of the novel but build a bigger story around it. So even Teng Ping the author does not know what is the ending of this drama.
The black market and the previous scene with floating down the lake give me Harry Potter vibes 😆
WoF is a blend of Lord of the Ring middle earth, Marvel (esp Superman) and yes Harry Potter....But producer did say they want Marvel CGI for the fight scenes....
Read the many "screaming how good this drama are" comments......and give it a try.....Even without FL, there are important F characters with a lot of screen time.
don’t blame me for shipping foxy tang with everyone 😭. It’s the LYX effect
My fav so far Chi Yun and his fox master Tang.....but...I might like Tan Tai brothers later, or switch to A Li and A Yan.....depending on which episodes....😂
