I’m dying to know who that gorgeous veiled lady is ??? Stunning AND suspicious… I need her whole backstory!…
Xifang Tao is one of the antagonists, and her character in the novel is so wild, there’s no way it would’ve made it past censorship. She together with the main antagonists are the 2 characters I’m most curious.
Yo, he’s the Wanqiao Chamber master rolling into the city like he owns the place ... massive-ass ship flexin’……
When my humble ‘small luxury yacht’ is not enough, let me bring my personal cruise ship…and oh well....I don't need these jade pearls, I used them as my curtain btw....
I've never been a huge fan of LYX but I can't take my eyes off him here. He's gorgeous and his acting is enchanting…
For me, Luo Yunxi is 1 of the rare Chinese actors capable of breathing life into a character. When given a complex role, with the right script and production, he consistently produces Classics character, Runyu and Tan Tai Jin are proof, and I believe Tang Li Ci or Chu Wanning will be his third. Many producers, director and novel authors are surprised by how deep his understanding of his character. Inside novel author associations Lyx has been the no 1 actor they wish to play their characters if one day their IPs are sold.
Very few C actors possess the dubbing skill to match Luo Yunxi’s level—his dubbing adds another layer of depth to his characters. While his elegance, good looks, and cultured demeanor are there, it’s his acting range that makes me a fan.
1. Director Chen Zhu Fei is a long-time cinematographer for the famous director Chen Ka Gai (no wonder Cinematographer is v beautiful). However he was highly criticized for his last costume drama, so he turned over a leaf with WoF
2. TLC wood carving, each carving represents the next person to enter the scene from both his side and opposing side. Upon their death, he burns the carving. When TLC gives one to Zhong Chunji, it signifies she’s no longer just a chess piece in his game but his allies.
3. TLC tea accessories, Originally, he had two: a fox and a puppy. Now boarding his Super Yacht ship adding A Shui (a rabbit) and Shen Langhun (I can’t point out what it is: a bull? a bulldog?).
4. Today WoF has officially released all 9 characters songs. Just days ago, the full soundtrack—over 100 tracks—was released. Now waiting to be available on Spotify, etc.
nice to know !! hopefully we get more viewers as the story picks up :)
Looks like they just hired 3 marketing company on Sunday yesterday. So marketing will start tomorrow, crossing my finger. Lyx agency is the worst when it comes to marketing. Seems Mango and Migu are upset bcs if it.
I'm the type that waits until all the episodes are released or almost all of them are so that I may binge watch…
The ones said no romance read the script while they are other who craving romance wish for romance and insist there is romance. Filming was completed 6 months before novel was not finished.....
