Am i the only one that thinks that most handsome actors look better in costume dramas than in modern
In General, Very handsome in costume means 100% handsome in modern, but Very handsome in modern does not always translate to handsome in costume. For men, costume is the big test of how handsome they are....We see example when modern looks great and costume turn out to be disaster.....
After all, we hope that TTEOTM is doing well, it was good that CGI not finished and not aired during CNY. Cause all dramas aired during CNY good/bad all have been knocked out by "The Knockout" drama, dominated 60% of the drama market. Most watched drama in Qiyi History ever, and most watched drama in CCTV in the past many years too. Douban rating 9.1...but well maybe the type of drama for China alone and not for International.
If TTOETM aired, it would lose money. All attention is on that drama alone.

Yeah, not surprised, LYX fans had said 2nd part still not done. A good Xianxia with this many eps usually take a year to finish. Our best hope is Late March/April, but let's be patient and wait till Summer. Better CGI is important. Please no IS/The Starry Love aweful CGI....

If u want a really good FL drama. I just watched The Makanai, cooking for the Maiko House at Netflix. My 1st J drama. OMG, I'm blown away. It's beautiful, heart warming, soothing, comfortable....The best chemistry I watched from any drama BL,GL, BG etc...period. On top of that the acting from every single cast there....very natural....almost like watching them in real life and not acting....About friendship of 2 young girl on their way to become Maiko.

Okay, after watching ALON, now I am really craving for a new drama with LYX and ZBB! Please!!!
Chemistry will be awesome. They both will turn the entire filming set into League of Legends competitions...and both will scream all the time off screen...that would be fun hahaha....
It's bc of the haters who are upset that this aired and not the real danmei dramas. Lol.
Those who are waiting for the real danmei drama are happy that this air....and most watch here too....Anyway, there is no real Danmei drama in China, they are all safe censored adaptation. Also I get it, the original not Danmei, but Tencent has been marketing this as BL drama before everything blew up in Aug 2021. I think 2MLs not everyone cup of tea, most like strong BG romance maybe that's why...but good drama will shine regardless .....
Actually the style that way is more realistic to the historical era they are in ,, they discussed the production…
I'm only complaining about JBR Lipstick color and that Rigid mouse ponytail hair. They could have given him a real hair that moves..... Considering this is still an S class drama.
