If u check the cast, no FL no 2nd FL no 3rd FL....meaning no love interest haha....that's why for the longest time pp think this is BL...Plus STOTD has one of the most annoying FL too

As far as I know only: HYX, WIK that's it + very very low budget Story of the Bat.... I think that's all we'll see in 2023. The rest next year, C Gov still want to cap how many can be released. If new approval is granted I'm sure Ntra wants to see first the impact from HYX,WIK airing. That's why I think rational fans is the key for other to get approval...no shipping BL characters and especially not actors....

Being cut imo: Tencent has 3 high budget BL adaptations not incl Alon, Alon being cut to be super save and no promotion fr actors is a test case for them to see if they can release their 3 BL adaptation dramas.
Things are loosen up in China, even another BL novel is now abt to be adapted, it was on trending weibo yest.
Tbh I still prefer STOTD, Alon cases reminds me of STOTD plus I actually like STOTD characters better albeit production, lighting etc less beautiful than ALON which is S class, STOTD is A/B drama. Unfortunately looking at Alon, we need to be prepared for cut… novel readers might be disappointed, my hope is audience who never read 2ha still get HYX splendid touching story …..But airing is already a win…. my hope the full version is sold to Netflix….
