it was definitely way more than 10 minutes... come on... the story will move forwards now
I’m just ignoring these type of comments.
People can have opinions of course but ones that make no sense or from someone who clearly didn’t understand the point of having these two episode show the two contrasting lives
I love that they show the lives of the leads in the two opening episodes. Showing the contrast between the ML and FL in life, school and families.
From episodes 3-10 we can Watch the character bond and heal through romance and pain.
The thing I'm most curious about is how did Park Mi Jung know that the senior was bit by a wasp and that other…
She knew he was struck by lighting because in the background it shows a large lightning bolt and another loud bang near by. Also she’s been living with “the curse” for some time so I can imagine she understands what will happen.
Really enjoying this so far. It’s unique and original. Of course we have the school mates to lovers but this seems wildly different. It’s more of onlooker and loner type situation.
Happy both of their backstory’s are out of the way and we can focus on the rest of the drama and how they come together and heal.
I cannot fathom why they call her The Witch. It’s all out of her control. The phrase right place wrong time heavily applies here. Just sad that the people seem to forget that she is also a human.
Really admire the scene between Park Byeong Se (FL father) and Lee Dong Jin as it shows her father that there are people who care for her. Even if it’s scratching nicknames out of the bench.
Hopefully in episode three we are introduced to the SML and SFL (Kim Jun Hyeok and Heo who could be a potential second couple but have no idea for now)
Love the fact that the ML is dedicating his career to helping the FL find out why all of these things are happening. It’s romantic and noble.
Still can’t understand why when the first episode aired the rating was between 4 and 5.7. GIVE IT A CHANCE

3) One of the female scientists stole his iPad with no warrant or lawful grounds.
4) They entered a restricted area with no warrant
5) Stole someone’s DNA claiming it to be KSA property.
6) Keeping people against their will with no authority in interrogation rooms. They aren’t the police their scientists.
7) The chairman could have waited then they wouldn’t have found the surgery room in time.
8) Some of the worst security guards I have ever seen, not being able to stop two small women and a 45year old man.
(I COULD BE WRONG AS THERE MIGHT BE KOREAN LAWS THAT GIVE THEM POWER)
Other grievances being Park DongA saying Kong Ryong has some nerve:
A - you cheated on your partner then proceeded to beg on your knees for forgiveness. B - Kong Ryong is trying to give life to someone who sacrificed their own life for someone else. C - Punches Kong Ryong many times for no real reason other than the girl he “lOvEs” doesn’t love him anymore.
Sure Kang Tae Hui (control center commander) should have more control over things like this. Just let it slide. Doesn’t actually harm anyone. If anything it’s an advancement on Space Science and a giant win for the Korean Space Agency.
The ending was the worst for me, although I understand Eves reasons the complete betrayal from the woman he loves will hurt.
From the preview Kong Ryong seems to be the only person to be punished, although they have all helped in trying to get this embryo fertilised.
Coming into the drama I didn’t really want a fairytale ending as it wouldn’t make sense considering the novels ending.
Overall the ending was happy to me. They elope and live their lives as if no one else exists, just relying one another’s love, which is a beautiful statement.
The scene where they fade away was stunning and made me shed a tear as we understand what is happening. Glad we didn’t see them living and having kids as that would be very painful to watch due to the fact as viewers we have bonded well with these characters.
To me they have followed the novel and they have eloped and lived happily for 10+ years and after some time they die peacefully knowing their lives have been worth living.
Maybe in another life that can be at peace and love one another in a world of peace and solidarity.
Saw some comments jumping to the conclusion of a sad ending which doesn’t make sense. Yes it implies they die, but the time from choosing to elope to death is the time they would value the most.
Overall a masterpiece and something I can’t rewatch but highly recommend. Can’t speak highly enough of the leads especially the FL. Breathtaking acting and she is stunning.

My guess is that he will cover for the FL and take all the blame which is noble and the right thing to do considering it’s “illegal”.
Also think the woman in charge will try and take back the fertilised eggs claiming it to be KSA property. Killing the embryos in the name of “science”.
The DongA character seems to be annoying again after seeing the preview. “We should lock him up”. Calm down mate you cheated and she found an actual MAN.
I hope the FL and ML go back to space together as the KSA team need a new Doctor or Scientist for animal research and he’d be perfect for it.

The SML finally figured out that Esther likes him and wants him to be a father figure to her baby and no one else. Although it took the FL telling him this to understand his own thoughts and feelings.
The other two couples are fluffy and cute. The vet and leads friend and the two other friend make nice couples so I and complain.
A top drama. Not for everyone as most can’t comprehend a melodramatic drama.

Career Way buy / takeover the FLs company and make her resign as the CEO and when the Career Way CEO (the angst character of the drama) shows up she finds out every single employee has resigned and left her with a company with no one to work for her.
Then the Career Way CEO is arrested and that’s the last we see of her.

It’s clearly a melodramatic drama. Not a fluffy romantic drama. This is more of a healing via pain type of drama to me
