Being a strong independent woman doesn’t imply she’s open sexually just means she knows what she is worth.
Being with other men doesn’t mean being with other men. Every Christmas the FL and her father go to a hotel and spend Christmas there. Hence why the old shop keeper accused her of going into hotels with old men aka her father. She didn’t have to tell the old shop keeper everything.

My thoughts exactly. Her sleeping around didn’t make sense to me either as it doesn’t fit the character at all.
The shop keeper is just old and weird. Old man + young attractive woman must = sexual favours. Makes no sense at all. Also agree she doesn’t have to explain her self to anyone let alone a man who accuses young women of prostitution.
Also clear that they were both virgins in episode one considering how nervous they were and the words they both exchanged.
And her father’s tradition is a sweet one, just some father and daughter time for the Christmas period.
In episode 3 she says to her father he ruined the tradition and won’t speak to him ever again.
Loved that they cleared up the misunderstanding between them and didn’t drag it out.
She was going to accept him until the MLs mother called which brought her back to why they didn’t work the first time 10years ago.
Didn’t like the FLs actions towards the ML either. The man has waited 10years for her and remained loyal and dedicated but she blew it off because of his mother. If you love someone so much just go for it and see what happens.

I also think that the rumours of the FL sleeping around aren’t true as it doesn’t make sense for her character to do that.
