Everyone is complaining about no kiss scenes, but I am complaining about the ending that they pulled. They should have allowed the audience to see them meet each other at the end.
I knew that she was going to have to leave and they hinted to us that Miao Miao and Ziqi somehow knew each other or met each other in the real world, so I was hoping for a Tiger and Rose ending, but they cut it off. Let them meet and kiss on the real world!
I am enjoying this drama so far, but I am behind. It's like they decided to air drop all of the dramas that I am following at the same time so that I can't catch up. I am also behind on another drama that I wanted to watch and now two more have airdropped.
However, back to the drama, every demon that they have encounter all have such devastating love. As for Li Lun and mask guy, I still understand their entire purpose. Of course the mask man wants Zhu Yan's core, but what is it for Li Lun? What does he want? He's not fully telling us what his plan is.
If we follow the storyline from other dramas similar to this, there is a greater conspiracy behind Zhu Yan's rampage. Maybe it wasn't him? Maybe it was someone else who used his name? So far, he seems like a good demon who can be super cunning but I don't think he'll be the evil demon everyone makes up to be.
The drama started off as a 10 for me and ended with an 8.5. I enjoyed every single case and I feel that every single guest stars did an AWESOME job being a psychopath.
This is by far Park Shin Hye’s best acting performance ever. I am a fan of hers, but she always played the same characters but this one, it showcased her range.
The casts, the director, the screenwriters - everyone did an amazing job. I was at the edge of my seat every week.
But… ep 14 was not it for me. I am not going to lie, I enjoy a happy ending as anyone else, but for this drama, I feel that a sad ending would be better. She’s a demon judge. She should go back and judge the sinners and murders in hell.
I do like that she did return to punish Jung Tae Gyu and I do like that they circled back to the first episode.
But I don’t think she should stay. I feel that even though she’ll be leaving Han Da On, she should still leave. This drama was never a fairy tale.
Ep 12 was fire. I mean, my guess of who Satan is, is correct. And the same for J. It wasn’t super obvious, but it was also subtly hinting at who it was. They were super suspicious.
I’m not a fan of the romance, but I do like how he starts to trust her.
The ending was a total cliffhanger. As for the preview, it almost looks like she is going to refuse Bael’s offer and send killer J to prison. I mean, she saw how hurt the family were and I know that she had to watch them cry over it because it took 25 years to find him.
I’m all for her dying to bring justice to the victims of Killer J. They deserve closure and the villa ajumma can finally let go of the villa and move on and build that relationship with her daughter. They ALL deserve to be happy.
Once again, I didn’t like the romance between them. I wish they could just be partner in fighting injustice.
I just finished episode 12 and I don't know why, but I suspected that the junkie hadn't died in the car. On the…
From my understanding of what he said at the end, he wants her to free him legally and then kill him and send him to hell. As for Satan, something is missing but I don’t know if it’s an illusion or not yet. It’s pretty sketchy since she is third in command but Satan did said that he was injured/hurt during his rebellion so I’m not sure if that’ll play a part or not. For now, we don’t know if it’s an illusion or not.
Not going to lie, eps 11 just gave me more questions than answers. The only thing that it clarified was how the real KBN died and why she died. But other than that, it gave me new questions.
Why was the brother torturing the mother? What is the deal between him and his father? Were they reason the brother is a druggie? It almost seems like the ex fiancé was the one feeding him the drugs? What’s up with the Assemblyman and the brother? Does the assemblyman know about the torture and just swept it under the rug? Who’s the hell is Satan? Who is J? KBN told HDO that it wasn’t Jeong Seon Ho, so who is it?
So many questions, and barely any answers. All I know is that the Assemblyman’s family is one crazy ass family.
its not that they are from different worlds, its just that the ML isn't the person whom the FL is willing to sacrifice…
What has the ML sacrifice for her? NOTHING. He has red flags that you clearly are ignoring. I'm sorry about I don't agree with you.
They are from different worlds. She's from a broken world and he's from a loving place. He can't have her change her views of what a broken marriage is when he never walked in her shoes.
As a wife, I don't expect my husband to sacrifice himself for me, I sure as well don't expect him to change who he is for me either.
I have been married for the past 12 years, and I'm going to be real honest with you, I compromised and gave in all the time, and I lost myself. Who I was before marriage and who I was during my marriage are two different persons. And from that, came a lot of resentment. Once I learned that I can still love my husband be myself, I was able to forgive myself and let go of the resentment.
Why should she change for him? Why should she sacrifice herself for him?
a bitch no matter what age is still a bitch. you dont think there are 19 yr old bitches?
Why is everyone calling her a bitch? Why are you praising the ML while hating the FL?
Are you literally ignoring his red flags?
The FL and ML both have issues. I understand where she is coming from. She has her own set of issues that she saw first hand from her parents' marriage, and that changed her views of marriage. His love on the other hand is suffocating.
He disregarded her feelings about marriage and still planned a whole ass wedding without her knowledge. I'm sorry but why are we having the FL change herself to fit your narrative what she should be?
Love does not work that way. Giving in and compromising leads to resentment. I'm sorry that you are living in a fantasy world, but this is what happens in real life all the time.
Are you going to be calling every female who has the same views as the FL a bitch just because they are not willing to lose themselves in a relationship?
What has the ML done that is different from the FL? He's just as self centered and selfish as she is.
Especially when she said something like “why should I change” maybe cause you’re annoying and self centred.…
NO ONE SHOULD CHANGE THEMSELVES. That's not how love works.
You are calling the ML an "ABSOLUTE KING" but you missed his RED FLAGS. Smh.
Like I have stated, his love is suffocating! He doesn't care about her feelings. If you even pay attention to him, you would know that he discarded her desire to not get married and planned a whole wedding without her.
He beat up someone (even though he deserves it), just because he assumed that she was cheating on him. He didn't even see them together. He only saw two people and just assumed.
He's immature and yet, you call him a KING.
She shouldn't have to change herself for him and he shouldn't do the same. They needed to work on themselves first before they can love each other.
I really hate that the FL is getting a lot of hate for being herself, while we praise the ML. If the roles were reversed, the ML would not get any hate for the things that the FL is doing. SMH.
I'm sorry to break it to you, but their relationship is the realest thing and it happens a lot in the real world.
She shouldn't to lose herself for him, and he shouldn't have to do the same.
Someone convince me why a man like the ML would ever give any woman like the FL time of the day? This guy has many…
The ML has his own set of issues. He has red flags that you are ignoring. I don't understand why you hate the FL just because she's true to herself. Compromising and giving in is not something that you should take lightly because it brings in resentment.
If you were paying the slightest attention to the ML instead of focusing all of your hatred on the FL then you would understand her. He planned a whole wedding without her even though she expressed her desire to not get married. That is a RED flag. He's love is suffocating so I understand where she is coming from.
I don't understand the hate that Shen Xing Ruo is getting from the comments. I understand that she had commitment issues because she watched how her parents lived their lives and it affected her view on marriage, but there are a lot of people like that in the real world. Also, after watching episode 9, I start to understand why they broke up.
Are we just on Lu Xing Yan's side because he's good looking? So, we're going to ignore his red flags? I mean, his love is suffocating! He's planning a whole ass wedding when she had expressed to him that she doesn't want to get married. He thinks that she will change her mind, eventually. But he did not take into account that it may ever happened. She had told him that marriage is not in the work for her, but he still ignored her.
Also, he barged into the apartment and beat up Yu Si (not going to lie, I was happy about that because he needed someone to punch him) but he did not even know the full story. He just assumed that she cheated on him. There were other females in the apartment but he just assumed that it was her. I mean, if that's not a RED flag then what is?
If the roles were reversed and it was Lu Xing Yan who acted like Shen Xing Ruo, everyone would praise him, right? I really don't understand the hate on her.
But like she said, they shouldn't have to compromise and give in to each other all the time because then it will bring resentments. Out of the three couple, Lu Xing Yan and Shen Xing Ruo are the realest. It happens in real life. When you just give and compromise to the point where you are loosing yourself in a relationship, there is nothing left but resentment. And we see that with LXY and SXR.
Just finished this drama, and I'm not going to lie, it follows most historical dramas where they start to kill off a lot of characters just to kill off characters.
This might be an unpopular opinion, but I actually like the ending. I liked how Yueluo's grievances were redressed even though it cost Wei Zhao/Xiao Wuxia's life. This was the legacy that he left behind to protect the people of Yueluo. This is the most heroic thing he can do and I like how they decided to do it this way.
One compliant that I have for the ending, is that they should have shown Wei Zhao/Xiao Wuxia in his Yueluo clothing instead of his Liang clothing. I don't know, but I feel that if he was home, he would be wearing his Yueluo clothing instead. Just a thought. But I am content with how everything was wrapped up.
Yes, it's not considered a happy ending, but I actually think that it is a happy ending. Even though our leads did not get together, we know that his legacy will live on with his son and that to me, is a happy ending.
Overall, I think that this drama could have been a lot shorter, like say 10 episodes shorter. We didn't need a lot of the other stuff. Like the whole "fake" poisoning of the emperor. That whole thing was just not necessary. I know that it was there to move the drama along, but, I didn't think it was needed.
This emperor is going on my list of the most hated emperors. The actor is the same one from Who Rules the World and I hated him, then and I hated him now. And boy, am I glad to see him dead!! He deserves it.
Speaking of villains, I wanted Madam Rongguo to die too. She deserves death for what she did. Why the hell is she still alive? Like why? What is her freakin purpose? She's going on my list of most hated mothers in Chinese drama. I mean, if they didn't kill her off, they should at least make her go mad like what they did with the mother from The Double.
Ep 7 was definitely a refresher after 6 intense episodes . Not going to lie, it did get a little boring so I did ffwd a little bit. But that ending, it made up for it!
Let’s start getting Han Da On on her side fighting for the injustice and getting real justice.
Also, can we give a round of applause to the actor who played the evil CEO? I’ve mainly watch him playing the good guy or the funny sidekick but he nailed it in this episode.
That intern is starting to piss me off. She's what I would call a "pick me girl". She's the rich girl that no one pays attention to, so she tries to make herself "known" by pulling the "don't you know who I am" or "don't you know who dad is" card. She's the second person that I want to slap.
Came back to add to my post. Yu Si or whatever his name is an obsessive man. She only sees you as a friend, don't think you are her lover. I just want to slap him and the intern. They really do belong together. They both think that they deserve to be with LXY and SXR.
Just started this and so far, I like it. I already know that I’m going to want to jump into my screen and slap Yu Si or whatever his name is. He is so detestable and he barely has any screen time so far.
I am definitely not a fan of Madam Rongguo. Someone please spoil it for me, did she die? Because I really want her to die. She is the worst! She treats her son as a puppet and shows him zero love. All she cares about is the throne. And that’s all because the emperor didn’t want her as his main wife but as a concubine. I guess, there’s nothing worse than a woman scorned.
I think the rich guy Kang BitNa broke her engagement off with might have ordered someone to kill her, or maybe…
I feel the same. It makes no sense that her family just up and left and have not called her once to make sure she’s okay. I mean, they must have heard that she got stabbed, right? Something is not adding up and I am super suspicious of the Assemblyman’s family.
The killer from the past finally showed up!! Why does it feel like the Assemblyman and his son are also demons? I don't know if they are or not, just a feeling based on the preview. I am not going to lie, I am really enjoying this drama.
PSH is doing a remarkable job playing the demon judge and all actors/actresses that are involve in the murders are all awesome. I mean, their acting is just speechless. I am hooked and can't wait for the next episodes.
HOWEVER, I am getting super annoyed with Han Da On. He is getting on my last nerves, that I wished he did die when she killed him. I get that her way of punishing the criminals is not the way he wants her to, but he needs to understand that she is a demon -- which he knew since the beginning -- punishing the bad guys is actually what she is supposed to do. I don't understand why he can't get that through to his little head.
Arong is also getting pretty interesting. She mentioned that her mission is to get rid of demons who are developing human feelings, but what role does she play in helping Jusitita?
Curious, I am getting very curious about Kang Bit Na's past and how it relates to Han Da On's past. I feel like that they are going to make it a connection, but I want to know more about her. I mean, whenever they get to almost revealing to us (the audience) about her past, they stop short of telling us about her past. Why did her family move aboard? Why does she not have a relationship with them? Why haven't they called to check up on her? I mean, she was literally stabbed to "death".
Also, why isn't anyone talking about her getting stabbed? Like did everyone just forget that she got stabbed? I know that they mentioned that she "changed" after getting stabbed, but that's as far as they had gotten.
I am really hoping that they are going to tie everything nicely at the end and not give us a bs ending because it's been so good.
I knew that she was going to have to leave and they hinted to us that Miao Miao and Ziqi somehow knew each other or met each other in the real world, so I was hoping for a Tiger and Rose ending, but they cut it off. Let them meet and kiss on the real world!
