ML is really getting on my nerves, he is actually ruining the show for me. There are plenty of plot holes but…
I agree with you, Han Do An is getting on my nerves too. But just like all dramas that involves supernatural and police officers, the police officer would always be a pain in the butt. I get that it’s his duty, but he can’t punish her with human laws.

To me, ep 5 was the best episode so far. That actor with the multiple personalities… no words. Just wow! If Han Da On did not trick him, I would have never thought that he was pretending. He deserves an award for that scene alone.

Kang Bit Na is getting way too cocky. She needs to slow her horse down. I get that she wants to return to Hell ASAP, but shes doing it the wrong way.

Honestly, I am more interested in Han Da On’s past and Kang Bit Na’s past. I want to know more about them - the crime and why she broke up her engagement.

I also want to think that the Satan they are looking for is the serial killer in his case.

But overall, I have no idea where this is going to take us.

Yan qiao shuang is pissing me off in ep 29. I dont really believe her in terms of when she said prince qi died…
She doesn’t know the whole truth. I feel that that’s what she believed happened. But it does pissed me off that JC is blindly believing in her because she has been in Yueluo and has seen the aftermath of what happened. She be friended Yeuluo people and have worked with them. But I do get that she’s confused or shocked because this is all news to her.

I know people say Pei Yan is obsessed with Jiang Ci and that is risking his own ambition, but I do think he is…
Honestly, I don’t think he even has an ambition. Everything that we have seen him done so far IS because of his mother. She’s the driving force. He’s just her puppet.

So far, JC has been a free thinker, but why does it feel like when it comes to her master/aunt, she wholeheartedly believe every word she says? I mean, I get that she raised her and everything but after seeing the word, and hearing about how Xiao Haitian was framed, how could she just believe her master’s words? Her master doesn’t even know what the real truth is, how can she just believe her? Also, I blame her master for her father’s death. It was a dumb plan that failed but yet, somehow, she blames Xiao Haitian without even knowing that their actions were the issue.

Is it just me or is PY’s mother acting out because she’s being petty that she wasn’t chosen as the empress but a concubine? It seems like everything she’s doing and planning is a “I’m going to stick it to you for not picking me and I’m being petty about it all of these years.”

Other than that, there is literally no other reason why she is doing what she’s doing.

Ep 26 was so sad. Those innocent people didn’t deserve to die but I understand that they wanted to protected Yueluo. It was a hard choice for WZ and HJ.

The rationale behind what powers she can and can not use is just getting skewed by every passing episode. She…
Episode 3 explains that she can only punish the sinners who have killed. She can’t just go and kill anyone she likes. As for the CCTVs, I think it’s to hide evidence. Also, I think that she goes and proclaims she’s a demon because no one is going to take her seriously.

I do agree with you that she needs to stop because it will get used against her as we saw in ep 3.

Ep 1 kicks off by glorifying police brutality through a detective who expresses zero remorse for hurting a criminal,…
As much as you don’t like it, this is what happens all the time. I am not saying that all police officers are bad, but there are police officers using excessive force without remorse. I don’t think the show is “glorifying” it though. It was one case. And I didn’t think he used excessive force at all.

As for the DV, like I stated, this happens a lot of the time. The abuser usually gets away with it especially when the victim writes a letter to the courts. I honestly don’t think it’s fair, but if majority of the time, the victim is too scared to move forward, so it gets dropped or nothing really happens. BUT, there was a scene in which she states that it won’t stop even if he goes to jail, and it’s true. Even if the courts are able to put the person behind bars, it won’t stop that person from harming the victim when they get out.

I don’t think it makes “excuses” like you say. I think that it’s portraying what really happens in the real world.

So, even though the show is extreme, I have seen worse. This is not your typical “happy, go lucky” drama. If you’re looking for the “k-drama vibe” you’re going to have to watch something else.

Also, this is not the first drama that deals with things like this. You should watch Taxi Driver. It deals with the same thing but instead of a demon, it’s actually group of underground people taking the revenge for the victims and taking justice into their own hands.

What an intense drama - completely different from PSH’s previous work and I gotta say that I like this new PSH. She should do more dramas like this.

So far, so good. I just hope that they keep the momentum going like this and not change it later. Most dramas tend to start off really well and then fall apart at the end.

I’m not sure why the rating for this drama is so high. But I don’t follow reviews. I watch it myself to make a determination for myself. With that being said, I have watch plenty of shows involving courts and I want to say that this is not yet.

I fast forward 32 episodes! That’s how bad this show is. Not going to lie, I only started this because of clips I saw on FB and I’m disappointed. The court scenes are interesting but other than that, there’s nothing good to watch. I mean, it’s a wasted storyline.

The FL got on my nerves to the point where I just wanted to slap her. The prosecutor and lawyer pissed me off so much.

The ending was stupid as well. 32 episodes wasted on nothing substantial. The cases were the only interesting thing.

Also, how the heck did no one, I mean, NO ONE did a background check on him? They’re supposed to be rich right?! They’re supposed to have connections right?! Like, he changed over night and everyone just accepted it as is. Or did I miss that?

I don’t know. It was boring to start off with in the first place, and it got interesting with the switch, then but I spent the entire time, and my sleep time, fast forwarding this drama.

Wasted talents, wasted story line.

Only thing that bothers me in FL is - ML and SML seem to have objectives in life, they know what they want and…
The way I view the FL is that she's free spirited and just wants travel and eat all the delicious food in the world - which is a goal for her. She seemed to be sheltered from the outside world for a long time so without seeing the world, she didn't really know much except for food and meeting beautiful people. However, later on (after seeing outside world and meeting all kinds of people) she will discover her purpose.

Pei Yan is the real villain how dare he force & drag her without her wil. He lost her forever now that she stood…
I wouldn't call him a villain. I know that he's obsessed with Jiang Ci, but I feel like it's because she was the only one who was nice to him. I feel like to him, everyone else wants something from him but for her, she didn't want much from him. She was just a nice person in general.

But this is not discount the fact that he's an obsessive red flag.

Title Love of Nirvana Spoiler
I am starting to understand the 3 main leads. This does not discount that both Pei Yan and Wei Zhao are walking red flags and Jiang Ci should drop them like flies.

Wei Zhao - he is someone who is just looking for answers to what happened to his family. Yes, he did try to kill her multiple times but it was just protection. She was at the wrong place at the wrong time and saw something that she shouldn't. So, to protect himself from he needed her dead, but he also needed her to draw away Pei Yan so he can get what he wants, Teng Rui. She was a stranger to him, someone you can identify who he is. Remember he is a double agent, working for and against the court. His mission is to bring his people out of Liang and slavery. He wants to restore his home to its rightful glory. As for his sudden change, he started to see her as someone who is caring. She cares for the people, as much as he does.

Pei Yan - he is just a puppet to his mother. He never really cared about Jiang Ci, saving her was just his reason to draw out the assassin. He treated her like a puppet and having to save her time and time again, he thought that she will be loyal to him, but she was never truly loyal to him either. She stayed with him because she was grateful to him. His obsession grew because she was the only one who was nice to him and didn't want anything from him. His mother was the one who made him who he is. His character is very complex. He was brainwashed by his mother into thinking that he needed to gain more power so that no one can step on him, but his mother is using him as a stepping stone herself. He is being manipulated by his mother. Everything that he does is for her. To protect her at all costs.

Jiang Ci - she is naive and a little gullible but she truly doesn't trust the guys. The only person that she loyalty too is her master as for now. We don't know her identity, but she just wants to be a free spirited person who roams the world. But because of her curiosity, she got entangled with two psychopaths. She is fairly smart and she can fend for herself. She was sheltered by her master for so many years so she has very little knowledge of how evil the world can be until she meets both Wei Zhao and Pei Yan.

Like I said, this is not excuse the fact that both Pei Yan and Wei Zhao are two crazy bastards who used Jiang Ci for their own selfish reasons. From the way the drama is heading, she's going to fall for Wei Zhao and possibly end up with him. I just hope that's not true. She doesn't need them and they don't deserve her.

Honestly, the Emperor and Pei Yan's mother are the true villains in this drama.

Jin Zang, Marshal Xu, and many loyal official's death are at the hands of the Empress Dowager. Honestly, I thought that she was smarter than that. She was portrayed to be someone who was smart and was ahead of things, but the last couple of episodes just proved that she's not as smart as I thought she would be. How can she still believe and give power to Vice Minister Lai after everything that had happened? Like wtf. She's just giving him power and trusting him but he's destroying the whole city.

Smh, at this point, I just want to go and slap her across the face. I already knew people were going to die, since that's just how it is, but I never knew that she was going to be the cause of it all. Smh.

As we near the end of this drama, I have a feeling that this drama is going to follow the "everyone dies" troupe just like The Double, Tiger Crane, Ruyi's Royal Love in the Palace, to name few. And not only that, but the ending is going to be rush and everything is going to be solved all at once. They have 9 eps left to make it right, but following the trend, most likely it's going to be disappointing.

in 'princess royal', the FL is married and gets it on with both ML and the 2ML in both life times.in this one,…
Why do I feel like we are watching two different dramas?! Unless you're just trolling. Don't get me wrong, there are flaws in this drama but she is not even remotely close to how you portrayed her to be.

From the beginning, she had always have a crush on him. She remembered him from her past and that's why she was willing to marry him. She has also showed her "love" for him by staying by his side NO MATTER how rude or mean he was to her. He told her to remember THREE things and those things were important. So you can't blame her for being reserved. He told her that she should never tried to be Mrs. Shen, that she is not the one he wants to marry and that they will divorce in 3 months. If your husband told you that on YOUR WEDDING night, you would also be reserved.

"there is not a single thing, zero, nothing that FL has done to convince she remotely even thinks of ML as a human" -- what?! She cooked for him, she went out of her way to find medicine to help his eyes after realizing that there was something wrong with his eyes, she tried to protect him when he was fighting with Chen Huo'e, she stayed up with him when he was actually stabbed by Chen Huo'e, she was the reason why he survived. She was quick-witted and sewed up his wound. So, tell me, where the heck did you get that stupid perception from? Don't tell me its from he fact that she doesn't go straight to him for him because if that's the only reason, then I can only shake my head at you.

How did she treat other men? Like her friends? I don't see an issue with how she treats other men. They are her friends, she treats them exactly how you would treat your friends. I mean, unless you treat your friends like shit, then I actually feel bad for them.

SHE WAS NOT OPENLY CHEATING ON HIM. Treating your male friends with respect is not the same as cheating. Smh.

As for Princess Royal, I still think that we watched two different dramas. Yes, at first, she treated the SML better than her own husband, but that's because in their past lives, there were so many miscommunication without any resolutions that she brought to their present lives. She thought that her husband was in love with another woman who happened to be the concubine of her brother. So, of course she's going to show favoritism to the SML. If they both communicated with each other and resolved whatever issues that they had when they got older, then she would definitely have fallen in love with him.

Trust me, I was frustrated with her because she thought that the SML was a better choice for her but she did redeemed herself when she realized that it was the ML who she loved all a long. And if you couldn't see her character arch, then that was on you. She changed when she realized that he was using her as much as she was using him. ALSO, you missed the part where they BOTH pretended to be at odds with each other for their purposes. They clearly were very much in love with each other.

The ML in his drama is definitely not a "cucked spineless simp" either.

This drama definitely has its flaws - for example, this drama has way too many villains. I am not sure what everyone's purpose is in doing what they are doing at this point. I get that the Prime Minister Zhang is working with Prince Xian to overthrow Princess of Valor, but then Prince Xian also acts so aloof that I am not sure what his real motive is. Vice Minister Lai, not sure if he's against the royal family or just Princess of Valor. But he is getting on my nerves though with his stupid high horse attitude. As for Princess of Valor, I am still trying to figure out if she's working against Shen Du or Prince Xian because she's mean to everyone.

As for the Empress Dowager, I am still unsure what her motive is in everything. She comes off as a good guy but then she also comes off as a villain to me. So I'm still trying to guess what she wants or what she is trying to do. As for Madam Xu working along side her, I have a feeling that she's the main villain, but honestly, I don't know. There are times were she seems suspicious and there are time where she's innocent. So for Madam Xu and the Empress Dowager, I am on the fence on where they stand at this point of the drama.

The cases are interesting and I do enjoy watching Shen Du and Yan Xing work together as a team. So, far, I am enjoying the drama. I have been reading most of the comments and everyone is annoyed with Yan Xing, but I actually adore her. She's smart and she pure hearted. Yes, she's reckless but to me, that is probably due to her age.
