He was Ai’s ex boyfriend, the one that wanted to run from her but kept going back to find her lol that’s him.
it was Yoshioka Atsushi at ~26:50 in Episode 5 and ~23:00 in Episode 8. I used to think it was him. I've learned Japanese now and I just checked jp wiki and those database sites again, I don't think that was him anymore. not sure why "Nojima Shinji" was put in the guest roles section here in the first place lol. sorry for the confusion.
I just realized Rihito is playing as Rihito in this movie😅
fun fact: the manga’s author said that he saw Itagaki Rihito 5-6 years ago on TV and thought that Rihito was the exact character image he was looking for at the time, so he created the character with Rihito in mind and gave him the same name.
simply put: men: pathetic. women: sick in their heads. drama: messy. me: having a blast.
overall a quick and amusing watch for those who enjoy this subgenre (i laughed several times ngl). every character had their own past and trauma but nothing was too dark or too deep, just crazy lol. and i actually liked that scene at the end, they wrapped it up pretty well imo. scariest performance was hands down Nanoka's, her psychotic acting was almost too good (and too loud) for this drama.
Thanks a lot for subbing! Otherwise I would not aware the existence of this drama...LoL As a first project, you…
Thank you for your comment. I really appreciate it. I’m actually more of a watcher than a subber and mostly make subs just for myself. I was going to make this a one-time thing since I’d come to like this drama a lot. But I’ll consider releasing my subs again if I find any forgotten title that I really enjoy, like this one ^^
Woaaahhh im also currently rewatching it! My twt has been spammed with tachibana pics /pos and i've been seeing…
i was wondering why your name felt so familiar, it took me 10 minutes to remember that i saw you on the Himitsu page haha xD glad to find another person that thoroughly enjoyed all 3 of Rihito’s leading roles (so far) <3
LOVED it! This is such a gem. The kind of drama that only Japan can make and they went all in with the details and production.
I loved the anime so much that I had to wait until I’ve forgotten half of it to finally start watching the drama (and it took me 5 years). It was so satisfying to experience this story for the first time again. Really glad that they didn’t change the plot much and even kept the hints here and there. And amazing performances all around!
it's been 3 years since. wow. i just rewatched this recently. funny how Shinobu's apartment complex post-timeskip has been used in so many j-dramas, yet in my mind it's still stuck with the imagery in this one. oh how i wish i could watch this weekly for the first time again T-T
In episode 3, there is a cameo of the lead couple from 'Brother Trap'... Their character's names are the same...…
i know this is a late reply but i just want to say that it seems to be a tradition of this drama timeslot to feature cameos from the previous drama (in this case is brother trap) and the next drama (sweet moratorium). they were all aired in the same timeslot of the same broadcast station, in different seasons. no other relations.

both Rihito and the author thought that it was fate that Rihito got to play the character in the live-action.
